1st Chod Monlam in Mongolia - 2011 Buddhist disciples including foreigners and Mongolians headed by His Holiness the

9th Bogdo Jetsun Dampa will conduct a special puja (Chod Monlam) dedicated to the prosperity of the planet and the welfare of all the sentient beings. It will be a seven day program and take place in December, 2011. Highly respected lamas such as Woser Rinpoche an assistant to His Holiness, Kachin Chogbrul Rinpoche(Mongolian), Lkhazun Rinpoche from Nepal, Khandro Tsering Cheta and Yeshe Khandro from India have been invited as eminent participants to deliver certain explanation on the Chod practice. The event will be headed by Woser Rinpoche and organized by His Holiness Labran, Vensaling Monastery, Lineage of Dakini center in association with some other international centres of His Holiness. During the event, prayers books will be distributed. At the meantime, there will be an open discussion on the Chod practice, some important instructions on the melody of the Chod practice, lantern lighting-up and long life puja sessions as well.
