Primary Flight Training: Scheduled lessons according to student and aircraft availability. Conducted preflight briefing explaining procedures and maneuvers appropriate to the students lesson that day. Ensured flight safety at all times and instructed student during all phases of that lesson. Bi-Annual Flight Review: Met with pilot by phone or in person to determine recent flight history and developed a lesson structure appropriate to FAR requirements and his/her experience. Evaluated flight performance and determined if additional lessons would be required before providing bi-annual endorsement. November 2006September 2007

URS CORPORATION (Civil Engineering), Hunt Valley, MD Mechanical Engineer

3D Modeling: Generated engineering schematics for airline baggage security projects. Utilized AutoCAD 3D tools to examine possible layouts within available space constraints. Cost Estimation: Evaluated potential cost of a project based on existing conveyor dimensions and most up to date vendor cost heuristics. Created multiple estimates to provide cost scaled with performance.

PINNACLE AIRLINES (Commercial Flying), Memphis, TN First Officer

September 2005May 2006

Jet Transition Training: Graduated from three month training curriculum on jet aircraft systems and procedures including evaluation of airmanship using full motion CRJ200 simulator. First Officer: Alternating pilot in command responsibilities with Captain each leg of daily routes. Assisted Captain in all aspects of flight operations and determining aircraft airworthiness. June 2002September 2005

PAN AM INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT ACADEMY (Commercial Flying), Phoenix, AZ KLM Flight Instructor

FAA Student Pilot Training: Conducted daily lessons with FAA private pilot and instrument pilot students. Evaluated performance and ensured student knowledge and airmanship improved to PTS standards. Aircraft Evacuation: Volunteered to participate in evacuation of flight school aircraft from Ft Pierce, Florida to campus at Deer Valley, Arizona due to hurricane season of 2004. KLM Student Pilot Training: Participated in JAA flight instructor training program to qualify as an instructor for KLM international student training. Conducted primary flight training for KLM student pilots. July 2001May 2002

BOOZ ALLEN & HAMILTON (Transportation Engineering), Baltimore, MD Engineering Consultant

Field Engineering: Completed Baltimore Metro safety course reviewing equipment requirements and awareness of hazards in a heavy rail environment. Monitored the installation, testing and use of temperature and motion tracking equipment used during trial run of upgraded Metro rail cars. Technical Writing: Compiled information regarding maintenance requirements for the new series of Metro cars and integrated new procedures into final format of maintenance schedule. Consulting: Discussed the bottlenecks and ongoing challenges with Baltimore Metro technicians and formulated changes to tools and procedures used. Suggested these improvements and advised senior Booz Allen & Hamilton engineers of daily progress of Metro car system upgrades and testing results. June 1999December 2000

AAI CORPORATION (Transportation Engineering), Hunt Valley, MD Mechanical Engineer

Internship: Started as an internship in the summer of 1998 and hired full time after graduation. Catalogued and scanned original schematics of Comet IV series metro cars for New Jersey Metro upgrade project. 2-D Drafting: Created two dimensional drawings using AutoCAD for upgraded systems installations in Comet IV cars using scanned documents and measurements taken directly from prototype rail cars in maintenance shop. Technical Writing: Researched OSHA signage standards for metro rail and meet with vendors to select decals and signs that effectively communicated safety information to both Baltimore Metro employees and passengers.
