Ultrasound: This type of image is also know n as ultrasound. Ultrasound uses high frequency w aves of sound. A device called a transducer is placed on the skin over the area of the body that w ill be photographed. The transducer releases sound w aves that travel through the skin in the target organ or tissue. W hen sound w aves reach the precise structure, the echoes are emitted. The transducer picks up the echoes. The echoes are converted into an anatomical image displayed on a video screen. It can also be used to control a developing fetus, and also in evaluation of organs like, kidney, gall bladder, and heart. X-rays: The use of X-rays medical imaging is one of the most used and extensively know n medical diagnostic systems. It is used to take images to radiographic pictures of organs inside our body like bone, stomach, liver, etc. X rays are sent through the body to capture an image of a specific appendage. The density of the structure allow s the image to be captured. The film is set and the radiologist w ill be able to see the broken bone structure as. They are capable of differentiating an irregular structure, such a tumor from a normal structure. Nuclear Medicine Imaging: This form of picture uses radioactive amalgams that create gamma rays. The patient ingests a radionuclide. The chemicals gather for a short time period in parts of the body being imaged. A camera detects the gamma rays and uses the data to create a picture of the body part. The image is placed in the film know n as scintigraphy. It is applied the majority often in the bones and the heart. Computed Tomography (CT): Computed Tomography CT scan images is generated w ith the help of computer and x-ray technology to produce anatomical image of our body and a tw o-dimensional anatomical image is created w ith it. There are also three-dimensional images w hich can be produced by applying specific softw are. Used for plastic surgery and orthopedic treatment.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): During MRI process a high pow er magnet, radio frequency signals and a computer that is used to create images. It is used to diagnose diseases of the spine and brain and to evaluate the joints, abdomen, bone abnormalities and soft tissue, and chest. Medical digital systems have become an essential tool for the diagnosis of diseases and disorders that result in a life-saving treatment.
