(If the candidate fails to enclose all or any of the MBBS marks memo the overall percentage will be rounded to minimum i.e.50% and no further documents will be considered after last date of receipt of applications and merit list will not be altered. Therefore candidates are advised to check once again the application whether they have enclosed copies of all marks memos of MBBS degree) 2. Attested Xerox copy of Service Eligibility Certificate issued by the concerned Director/ Commissioner of Department as per the Annexure - I (as per proforma shown in enclosure). The service eligibility certificate issued or signed by any authority other than the Director/Commissioner of the concerned Department is not valid. st 3. Attested Xerox copy of Study Certificate from 1 M.B.B.S. to final M.B.B.S. If the candidate studied M.B.B.S. in Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada the candidate shall submit the study certificate from 6th class to Intermediate. st 4. The candidates who are selected and admitted to PG courses are not permitted to th withdraw from the course before 30 June of year of admission and such candidates will be debarred for three years for admission into leftover seats for PG Medical courses in addition to forfeiture of the bond amount. 5. The service eligibility certificate (as per ANNEXURE-1) issued or signed by any authority other than the Director/ Commissioner of concerned Department is not valid. Note: Do not forget to enclose copies of study certificates / nativity certificates to fix up the local / non-local area status of the candidate. 6. No individual intimations will be served in this regard.

MEDICAL COURSES (AS PER RULE 10(VIII) OF G.O.Ms.No.260, HM & FW(E2) DEPARTMENT, DATED 10.07.97, G.O.MS.NO.83, HM & FW (E2) DEPT., DATED 25.03.2006 AND G.O.MS.NO.122, HM & FW (E2) DEPT., DATED 13.04.2006, G.O.MS.NO.87, HM & FW (E2) DEPT., DATED 21.03.2007, G.O.MS.NO.100, LABOUR, EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AND FACTORIES (IMS) DEPARTMENT Dt.1-11-2008 AND AS AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME ) 1. The vacant seats after final counseling for the candidates who have appeared for the Entrance Test in Clinical, Pre and Para Clinical subjects in the Medical Colleges affiliated to University are open to the in-service candidates. The candidates need not appear for P.G. Medical Entrance Test. As per G.O.Ms.No.260 HM & FW (E2) Department, dated 10-7-1997 in service candidates means a candidate who has put in (a) 2 years of continuous regular tribal service (or) (b) 3 years of continuous regular rural service (or) (c) 6 years of continuous regular service. The cut off date for reckoning the service is 31.3.2012. 2. All the candidates have to forward their application forms through the concerned Directorate/ Commissionerate duly enclosing a Demand draft for Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of Registrar, Dr NTR UHS payable at Vijayawada towards Registration of application. Applications not submitted through concerned Directorate/ Commissionerate shall stand rejected automatically. The last date to submit the filled in application form through the Head of the Department concerned is 11-05-2012. 3. A) The selections will be done basing upon the merit in M.B.B.S. B) If the MBBS marks are equal, the date of birth of the candidate shall be taken into consideration and the older candidates shall be given higher place in the merit list. 4. The Selections will be done regionwise duly following the roster points. 100 point roster as available in Rule 22(e) of AP State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 shall be applied mutatis mutandis, except changing the first point to third point and vice versa for the purpose of calling candidates for counseling. 5. The local area of the candidates will be determined basing upon the study period of M.B.B.S. of the candidate. 6. Selection of the candidates will be considered as per Service eligibility certified and forwarded by the Head of the Department as per G.O.Ms.No.279, HM & FW (E2) Dept., dt. 09.07.2001 G.O.Ms.No.154, HM & FW(E2) Dept. dt.12.05.2003, G.O.Ms.No.719, HM & FW(E2) Dept. dt.16.12.2003, G.O.MS.NO.83, HM & FW (E2) Dept., dt. 25.03.2006 and G.O.MS.NO.122, HM & FW (E2) Dept., dt.13.04.2006, G.O.MS.NO.87, HM & FW (E2) Dept., dt.21.03.2007, G.O.MS.NO.100, Labour, Employment Training and Factories (IMS) Department Dt.1-11-2008. (i) such of those in service candidates who acquired Post Graduation degree or Diploma either before entry into Government service or after entry into Government service shall not be considered for selection of another Post Graduate degree or diploma as the case may be. As per G.O.Ms.No.719, HM & FW (E2) Dept., dt.16.12.2003 Deputation to inservice candidates selected under service quota shall be restricted to 3 years only i.e.(36 months). The candidates selected to prosecute post graduate courses under in-service quota shall be sanctioned deputation for one course only in his service time. The candidate selected under in-service quota shall be permitted to take any course of his/her choice based on merit. In case, if a service candidate who acquired Post-Graduate diploma in a particular speciality either before entry into Government Service or after entry into Government service and if he or she is selected for Post Graduate degree shall be allowed deputation for another period of twelve (12) months as he or she has drawn stipend for two(2) years while doing diploma. Those in-service candidates who are having the remaining service of a minimum of 8 years as on 31-03-2012 are only eligible to apply for the said seats.

7. All the selected candidates shall submit an undertaking that the candidates after completion of the course shall serve the Government for a period of 5 years and in default he / she shall compensate the Director of Medical Education by remitting a sum of Rs.20.00 lakhs alongwith refunding of the salary received during the study period as per the orders of Government. 8. All the selected candidates shall pay the University Registration fees as follows: A. For seats in Government Colleges B. For seats in Private Colleges : : Rs.10,600/Rs.13,600/-

The above fees shall be paid in the form of a crossed Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Registrar, Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, payable at Vijayawada at the time of counseling. 6. The Selections will be held at the office of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, A.P., Vijayawada. The date of selections will be notified through Press. No individual intimations will be served in this regard. 7. All the Original Certificates shall be produced at the time of counseling. 8. Applications not submitted through the respective Head of Department i.e. Director of Health / Director of Medical Education/ Commissioner APVVP/ Director IMS shall not be considered. 9. The Merit list and the number of seats available and roster points for each region will be notified In the University and in University website one day before the date of counseling. 10. 33 1/3% and 3% seats of Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses shall be reserved for women and differently abled candidates respectively, which are horizontal reservations. Note:- The Guidelines of Govt. of India and Medical Council of India shall be observed in making admissions of differently abled ( Physically Handicapped) candidates, according to which the Physically Handicapped candidates with locomotary disorder of lower limbs between 50% to 70% will be considered first and if any seats are remaining unfilled, candidates with 40% to 50% will be considered. The candidates for seeking the benefit of reservation should present him/her self before a Medical Board comprising of at least one Expert/ Specialist from the Specialty of orthopedics of State Medical Board an obtain a valid disability certificate from the Medical Board having been issued within three months prior to presenting his application for seeking admission in any medical course by claiming the benefit of reservation. The Medial Board constituted by the University will scrutinize / verify the disability certificates and candidates claiming reservation under PH quota for confirmation of eligibility. 11. The counseling will be as per the procedure given in G.O.P.No.646, Education Dt.1007-1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education, Dt. 18-05-2009 and as per the orders of the High Court, Dt. 27-04-2011 in W.P.No.10173 of 2011. As per the orders of the Honble High Court, 85% of local seats will be filled first and then the 15% unreserved seats. 12. 85% of the available seats in every course of study (subject/discipline) shall be reserved in favour of local candidates relation to the local area. While determining 85% in favour of local candidates any fraction of seats shall be counted as one. 13. Seats will be filled duly following the roster points from among the applicants who are in-service and who have applied through their respective heads of the departments. 14. The available seats and University areawise roster points for counseling will be displayed in the University website and on the notice board of the University one day before the commencement of the counseling. 15. In so far as seats in State Wide Educational Institutions and MD (RT) seats available in Osmania Medical College shall be filled up in accordance with Para 6 of G.O. Ms.No.453, General Administration (SPF-P) Department, dated 03-07-1974. 16. Any application received after the prescribed date and time shall not be considered. The University will not be responsible for any delay or loss in transit. 15. Claims of the Candidates will not be considered if they are absent when called at the time of selection and the next in the merit would be called. The selected candidate will be issued the provisional selection intimation and shall have to submit the original certificates. The selected candidates shall pay fees and submit the prescribed bond on or before the date fixed for the same. 16. If a selected candidates fails to submit the original certificates and pay fees or after paying the fees fails to submit the bond within the specified period, his/her selection stands cancelled automatically.

17. All the candidates joining the Post Graduate degree, diploma courses should execute the bond on a stamped paper of Rs.100/- value as prescribed in Annexure II to the effect that he/ she will complete the prescribed period of training or in default to pay Rs.50,000/- ( Rupees fifty thousand only) to the University . They should also execute the bond on a stamped paper of RS.100/- value as prescribed in G.O. Ms. No.122, HM&FW(E2) Department, dt.13.4.2006 and G.O.Ms.No.87 HM &FW(E2) Dept. dt. 21-03-2007 and as amended from time to time. 18. Fees: i) Tuition Fee: All the Candidates selected are required to pay the tuition fee as prescribed by the Government from time to time. If any of the candidates who joined in a course is allotted to another medical college the tuition fees paid by the candidates will be adjusted to the newly selected course/ college. The tuition fee paid once shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

In respect of Private Colleges (Unaided Non -Minority) the fee is as given below as per G.O.Ms.No.116,HM & FW (E2) Department, dt.14-05-2010 and as amended from time to time.
