Click on the Start button (lower left corner), Programs, MS Visio. MSVisio2007HVAC

When you first open MS Visio, select Engineering (on the left), and Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (in the middle), and the Create button (on the right). Also select Metric units.
To open up the Equipment-Pumps (Metric) Stencil symbol library, click on this title bar. You can get your Stencil to be wider if you click and drag the right vertical border (the arrow is pointing at it).

To start our drawing and add a Centrifugal pump symbol, Click and drag the Centrifugal pump symbol onto the Drawing Area as shown. The top green dot when you click and drag it, allows you to rotate the pump object (we dont want to do this, just information). When you start your drawing, you should place objects around the outside edge first so that it is easier to judge the size of the drawing on the paper.
Resize by clicking and dragging the grab handles on the corners or the middles. You can move the object by clicking (hold it down) and dragging it.
