Describes detailed methods of installing equipment, installation procedure, and installation techniques. Describes the equipment commissioning process, commissioning items, and operation guidelines. Describes the recommended items checked routinely after a network is put in use as well as the checking methods. Describes alarms and abnormal performance events by severity and by type. In addition, this manual describes why an alarm and abnormal performance event are generated and provides the methods of removing the alarm and abnormal performance event. Describes the general procedure for troubleshooting equipment. In addition, this manual describes guidelines on how to remove a fault according to typical fault symptoms. Documentation Development
The development of Huawei documentation adopts the engineering method, which consists of several phases, including planning, development, and commercialization. Deliverables in soft and hard copies are provided to the users.
Huawei Information Development Department is responsible for the development of product documents. The development of product documents consists of the following phases: Analyze requirements collected from the customers. Make a documentation development plan. Design the deliverables of the documentation development. Develop the original deliverables of product documents. Test and verify the deliverables of the documentation development. Release the documents.
The quality of the documentation is guaranteed through the implementation of tasks at different phases and through the decisive review at the last phase.
Standards Compliance
The documentation development process is compliant with the TL9000 standards of the Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications Forum
