Behind Every Great Man there are Great Women

Within written novels of the 17th century, a great author by the name of William Shakespeare rose above in England as the grandest poet, author and play writer of both his generation and centuries after. His novel, Macbeth, which depicted the tragic life of Macbeth and his wife, Lady Macbeth. Though Shakespeare himself did not have a wife of his own, his character struggled with numerous women in his life who through their influence, influenced him as well. I believe that Macbeth was influenced by the women in the Book , and at the end he caused his own downfall by his own free will. I will by using these example's to support my idea. Early into the book , it depicts a group of witches confronting Macbeth and telling him of his Prophecy . Like Many Girl's of my Generation do now , they teased him into the possibility of gaining this great power which interest him . This great technique have made men everywhere fall into temptation like a philosopher once said I can resist anything except temptation who wouldn't be pleased with the thought that you are destiny for much more than this. Before acquiring this information Macbeth was living a good life , he had just been promoted to the the thane of cawdor and to hear that he will become great than that made him ecstatic of the news, This mark the Downfall of Macbeth . Then it get worse in Act 1 , Scene5 he has told his wife of the prophecy and is have Dark thought about trying to become king . Lady Macbeth say the her husband is too nice to get the 1

greatness that he is promised . So she decides to help Macbeth gain the crown by killing King Duncan she is evoking him that he is man enough to do it nor does he love her enough. The thought of get told by your spouse that your not good enough will drive anyone . Then with little doubt in between he finally kills Duncan and becomes king . He had a choice he didn't have to kill Duncan he wanted to speed the process of him becoming king. I still think he has his own free will because later in act 3 , scene 1 he hires a assassin to kill Banquo & his son Fleeance . He has already become king he does need to kill him yet he does because he think he will ruin his plans . Macbeth is turn darker and he fate worsen. The near to the end of the book Macbeth confronts the three witches about his destiny and they tell him that he could only be killed by a man who isn't born from a woman and when the forest of brinam wood moves to his castle that Macbeth will be defeated. Which gives him the false sense of security just like what he did to kill Duncan .Also that the family of Banquo will rule the kingdom for Future Generation. This frightens Macbeth so he run back into his castle and declares war , which will ultimately lead to his downfall. This is also a example of Macbeth on free will .

As you can see I know that Macbeth had his own free will , and he only is to blame for his downfall. Macbeth could have gone living his happy life being the thane of clawdor . But with the influence from the women of his life he spiraled down a deep and dark rode in which end in karma . If the witches had never told him of his prophecy he wouldn't have done the thing he had . And his wife to make it worse by saying that he had no ball and he is weak pushed him . But at the end they both got what they desevered.
