GRAPE VINE CUTTINGS & GRAFTING MATERIAL - 2012 Dear Grape Grower and Winemaker, Enclosed are the McLaren Vale Vine Improvement Society (MVVIS) availabilities and order forms for cutting season 2012. McLaren Vale Vine Improvement has been at the heart of McLaren Vales development for the past 30 years. McLaren Vale Vine Improvement continues to offer a wide selection of vinifera cutting material through our committee of local volunteers. Despite tough times McLaren Vale Vine Improvement is still here to service the market with virus free, guaranteed true to variety and clone material. And we can sleep a little more securely if we know that the 5 acres of rootstocks set up by MVVIS at Dead Dog Swamp are there if phylloxera was to ever threaten us. Our membership has been available to all for a token amount each year. Even if you are not ordering material we need you to renew your membership, or if you are not a member join for the first time. On behalf of Vine Improvement we ask you to make an investment in the security of the McLaren Vale industry for our futures. We hope you will help us. Read the information, check your requirements against our availabilities and return your order to MVVIS as soon as possible. Orders received before 31 May, 2012 will be given priority. If you have any queries please call me on 0400 656 350. Regards, James Hook Chair MVVIS
