A book about the journey that Americans took to become an independent nation, Rights and Revolution in America is helpful to me because it is a book source, which means it is written by a person who has very little reason to distort.

A scholarly article by James Grahame, American Colonies Oppose the Stamp Act is helpful to me because it helps me understand why the colonists got so angry that the Stamp Act was being imposed on them. Also, it is written by a reliable source that has very little reason to distort. Sugar Act and Stamp Act: Detailed Overview. eLibrary. Web. 06 May. 2012. The degree of detail on this source is helpful to me because it helps me further understand the Sugar Act and the Stamp Act. However, it is not a scholarly journal nor a book, so it may be less reliable than some of my more helpful sources.

Most of my sources had been regarding the Stamp Act and the Sugar Act, so I was lacking in information about the Quartering Act. This article was helpful to me because it focused specifically on that topic.
