Sponsorship Rules and Guidelines 1. All sponsorships are non-refundable. 2. The Casual Games Association, its officers and volunteers are not liable for any damages or losses sustained by Sponsor Company or any attendee while participating in Casual Connect Seattle 2012 including but not limited to intellectual property, trade secrets, personal damage, loss of Sponsor Company property or loss of personal property. 3. Sponsor Company is liable for all damages caused by Sponsor Companys employees, officers and guests. The Casual Games Association requests Sponsor Company obtain a general liability policy for the duration of Casual Connect Seattle 2012. 4. Sponsor Company will become a 2012 Partner and Supporting Member of the Casual Games Association and Sponsor Company logos and trademarks will be included on Casual Games Association marketing materials as deemed appropriate by the Casual Games Association. 5. Sponsorship opportunities are subject to change until the sponsorship application is approved and full payment is received. 6. Sponsor Companys employees and officers may not mention or execute on marketing initiatives while speaking on conference sessions. 7. Sponsor Company will contain all marketing materials, property and marketing staff inside designated show floor and air space. 8. Sponsor Company may not distribute, market, or create any type of Sponsor Company presence which interferes with other designated floor space or market presence of any other participating entity or sponsor of Casual Connect Seattle 2012. 9. Sponsor Company may not infringe on other sponsors approved marketing initiatives including but not limited to sweepstakes, social parties & networking socials. 10. Sponsor Company is responsible for obtaining approval from the Casual Games Association prior to Casual Connect Seattle 2012 for all planned marketing initiatives to ensure no infringement occurs with other planned events. 11. Sponsor Company shall maintain good taste during all events. Scantily clad performers, nudity and erotic dancers are not allowed. Skirts must fall mid-thigh & shirts must cover stomachs and cleavage for paid staff. 12. The Casual Games Association reserves the right to not accept an application and may at any time at the Casual Games Associations sole discretion, return the sponsorship fee received from Sponsor Company to the Sponsor Company and cancel all sponsorship rights. 13. There will be a 10% finance charge that will be applied to your invoice if the invoice is not paid by the end of the conference. There will also be a 1% finance charge added on top of the 10% for each consecutive month after the conference that the invoice goes unpaid. 14. Sponsorship marketing options are on a first come first serve basis for platinum sponsors. First come first serve will also carry over to all other sponsors once the remaining marketing options are released from the platinum level. 15. Sponsors are listed on the website in order of signup. 16. The IGDA Summit is organized by the Casual Games Association. The IGDA shall not be held liable for any oversights or damages. The Casual Games Association strongly suggests Sponsor Company maintains liability coverage for Sponsor Company during all events, especially those located in the United States. We appreciate your understanding of the importance of maintaining compliance with all Sponsorship Rules and Guidelines. The Casual Games Association is dedicated to ensuring all of the Casual Games Associations policies and procedures are in place to help the industry grow and keep appropriate return for each sponsor level.
