FIELD OF APPLICATION: The electric oven shall be used for moisture drying and other general purposes such as glassware drying, cells drying etc.

9.3 STANDARDS: The instrument shall conform to relevant International/ Indian and Industry Standards. The equipment shall conform to safety and environmental certification 9.4 TECHNICAL PARAMETERS AND OTHER FEATURES 1) 2) 3) 4) Temperature Range: 0C to 250 C Accuracy: 1C Size ( inner dimension): 24 X 24 X 24 The outer body of the oven shall be made of MS sheet coated with heat resistance paint. The inner body shall be made of SS AISI-304 grade with adequate asbestos or glass wool insulation in between. 5) The oven shall have double walled viewing window with proper packing so that no fumes or any vapors enter through this window. 6) The oven shall be provided with vents for proper air circulation. 7) The oven shall be provided with digital temperature indicator and electronic temperature controller, thermostat controller essentially with PT-100 Sensor. The temperature setting should be easily visible with the same or different digital indicator and potentiometer. 8) The temperature within the testing chamber shall be uniform at all points within the tolerance of 1 % of the differential between oven and ambient temperature. 9) The time constant shall not exceed 480 Sec. 10) The rate of air circulation through ventilation shall be between 100 and 200 air changes per hour and the air shall be circulated in the oven by a low velocity fan. There should be provision for removing the vapour and fumes whenever required.

11) The oven shall have provision for the door with key arrangement for locking. 12) The oven shall have provision of hole for introducing temperature probe/ thermometer. 13) The oven shall be provided with the safety device to cut off the supply during voltage shoot up or temperature shoot up by 10 C above the setting level. 14) The oven shall be mounted on a base plate fitted with four wheels for easy movement. 15) The oven shall be provided with the three numbers of 2 kV Ceramic bushings separated each other by 2 gap at the side of the oven to measure Tan delta for transformer oil at higher temperatures. 16) The equipment shall also be fitted in the mobile testing vans using vibration damping attachments. The equipment shall be robust and capable of giving prescribed performance even after extensive traveling of the van. 9.5 STANDARD/ASSOCIATED ACCESSORIES: 1) Power/ Compensating Cable- 1 No. 2) Fuses- for motors- 1 Set of 5 Nos.
