65-80 points Congratulations! You are well on your way to a great project. - To fine-tune your project, consider collaborating with other teachers in the community. - If you haven't done it already, you could create a class website to start communicating with parents and students about your project topic and the structure you have designed for students. 45 - 65 points: Good. You're on your way. You still have the potential for a great project. Try improving one area for immediate benefit. Start with one section where your score is less than 15 points. - Identify one or two strategies you could use to strengthen your project design. - Find a teacher you could talk to for ideas, strategies and resources. Its hard to brainstorm by yourself! - Talk to your students about the project. 20 - 45 points: You've laid the foundation for a great project, by assessing the strengths and weaknesses in your current work. Check your score in each of the four sections. Find the section with the greatest opportunity for improvement and work on that section first. You don't have to fix everything at once. - Go through the tutorials, to learn about the Characteristics of Great Projects. - Check out the Great Project Ideas tutorial for ideas you can incorporate into your teaching. - Find a teacher you could talk to for ideas, strategies and resources. Its hard to brainstorm by yourself!
