Nurture strongly influences early human development. Discuss

In the 21st century, majority of people consider the fact that nature and nurture influence human development together effectively. Psychologists have been researching since the past centuries, to find out whether nurture or nature is effective in early development of humans. Nurture is known as the environment surrounding a human, which helps in developing his / her ability to learn and practice different types of attributes. This is a detailed investigation on how nurture strongly influences effectively on human development. Analyzing the strength of nurture, affects a humans intelligence and development. Nurture does not only affect a persons personality, it also influences a persons behavior and development. This essay will signify the influences of nurture on human development via society, family, training, and environmental and genetic relations.

Firstly, nurture can boost the efficiency of studying and working. However the babies are in a blank slate when they are born. The environment surrounding the baby plays an effective role to improve his/ her abilities or behavior. Moreover, a humans working abilities depend on the environment in which he/ she lives. For example, if a child is active and learns everything quickly, it is because the people near him are active. (Philip R. Zelazo, Nancy Ann Zelazo and Sarah Kolb 1972) claim that, giving daily exercise of the walking and placing reflexes to a group of infants , leads to responding quickly and this group can walk some days earlier than the kids who have not this practice. Also during the infants grow up, they will become different persons. And they are educated in schools and learn skill about living. In addition they try to improve their abilities and self-cultivation. Furthermore nurture can also make up the inherited deficiency of children; therefore they can approach others or even exceed others by training. Take the development of speech as an example , although no one can speak any sentences before 1 year old , they can talk earlier by listening to others speaking and obtaining awards for making speech like sounds than children who do not have this attention. (Atkinson et al, 1999).

Family and society also influences early human development. However, prcised care and a good standard of living enable an infant to be well brought up. Mostly an infant becomes well trained, if he/she has an educated family. As the family always plays an effective role in early human development. Moreover children, who belong to a happy and a well based family, become smarter and intelligent than others. Parents must train their children in many ways, such as helping them recognize different types of colors. For example, the sound of thunder, the barking of a dog, all these are different ways of confusing the baby and scare him/her, and consider them as their enemies, so that they can avoid these things. In addition, it is effective in the role of early development to answer the infant and satisfy him/her for his questions about the light, dark and thunder, so this can be effective evidence on the early human development.

Nature and nurture interaction influence strongly on early human development. However psychologists still find out which influences strongly, either nature or nurture. People react towards humans in a certain manner because they fit best with the humans spontaneous preferences. Moreover this indicates that a humans experiences may be influenced by genetic tendencies. In addition there are three types of environment and genetic relations. The first one is known as passive correlation. For example, if a musical ability is genetic, then it is most likely that the child must have musically inclined parents. Basically, parents provide child with genes and the environment promotes the ability to develop. Furthermore, the second relation is known as evocation. This occurs mostly when genetically apparent people evoke from parents and others. And the third relation is known as an active correlation. It is when humans actively select experiences that fit with genetically influenced preferences. Although nature seems to play a map for a persons life, psychologists caution that nature only acts as an influence. However anyone who has a strong will or a strong experience, could result in the way they act, or react throughout their future. In addition, if the background of the environment is changed, the variation due to the genetics can change.

In conclusion, a child can become a part of an adult by receiving proper training and care with the help of the environment. Also family and society play an effective role in human development. Although nurture strongly influences early human development, even nature has an effective role on the early human development. For example, if a baby is disabled, or has some medical diseases, he/ she cannot develop easily. And it is caused because of some medical problems faced by the mother before the child was born. Furthermore, nature gives humans born capabilities, and nurture helps them to develop these capabilities. It is also said that nature and the environment equalize people's traits and behavior. Genes affect a lot on a persons personality and behavior but the environment alters and forms the way in which the people are going to act. According to the heredity and environment including their individual cause to effect as well as final comparisons, the most noticeable viewpoint is the extraordinary effect of nurture towards early human process in sequences of life. Regardless of how much everyone retains, any advantages or disadvantage they inherit, their following experience in life will gain potentials to alter those original functions by adding more knowledge. This point is illustrated that nature truly leads to well-form person but cannot stay the same to produce a well-mental or bright personality person without the help of nurture.
