(Auditorium) Computers Made Simple - This workshop has been offered several times in different venues and has seen overflow sessions each time. Mrs. Cindy Peele of the Micro OFWB Church does an excellent job of helping the computer novice master the basics of e-mail, facebook, surfing the internet, and other simple procedures. The communication process of the future is now in the present. You are sure to enjoy and benefit from this workshop. (Room 135-136, Computer Labs)

Video Worship - Multitudes of shut-ins, home-bounds, hospital patients and others unable to attend Sunday worship would love to view the morning services. Mr. Don Flowers of the Little Rock OFWB Church will demonstrate the basics of videoing your worship and streaming it live on the internet. (Southern Bank Auditorium)

Sanctuary Etiquette - Participants will learn the proper meaning and use of the symbols of worship found in our churches, and the reasons for reverence in Gods House. The Reverend David C. Hansley, OFWB Home Missions Director, offers expertise generated by more than 50 years of experience. (Room 111)

Foundation for Christian Ministry - Dr. Don Riberio (Ormondsville OFWB Church), the Reverend Ricky Warren (Lees Chapel OFWB Church), and Mr. Don Lassiter (Selma OFWB Church) will carry on the ministry envisioned by Dr. Burkette Raper. Successful High School Student Ministry: Exploring the myths, the facts, the relationships, and the worship space of a successful high school student ministry in the rural church. High School Student Ministry is more than controlled chaos; there is a method behind the madness. The Reverend David Currie of Marsh Swamp OFWB Church leads this discussion. (Room 117)

Reaching and Keeping the 25-50 Crowd - Bringing in the sheaves requires more than just opening the front door of the church. Keeping them away from the back door is even harder. The Reverend James Howard Nobles of Mission Valley OFWB Church offers a fresh perspective on ministry to and by the post baby-boom bunch. (Room 120)

Meeting the Needs of Seniors and Shut-Ins: Your church exists today because of the faithfulness of its senior adults. Those who are confined to their homes are just as valuable to the life of your church. Dr. DeWayne Eakes of Little Rock OFWB Church helps us understand the unique ministry opportunities presented by our seniors and shut-ins. (Room 130)

Applying Gods Word to Everyday Life - Mr. Jessie B. Bennett, a lifetime member of the Antioch OFWB Church near New Bern, NC offers a laymans perspective on how to lean upon the Word of God as we experience our day to day living. (Room 131)

Discerning the Call to Christian Ministry: Our goal is to help church leaders understand that young disciples may feel Gods calling to some type of Christian service. In that situation churches need to provide a setting in which persons can discern what God is leading them to do. Church leaders as well as young disciples are invited to participate in one of these workshops. This is an important step toward building strong and capable leadership in the denomination. Led by Dr. Michael Pelt, professor emeritus at Mount Olive College. (Room 132)

Memoirs of the Home - Author J. Andrews Smith shares the life and times of residents of the OFWB Childrens Home. His book, The Family, a compilation of stories provided by former residents of the Home will be available during the Convention at the FWB Bookstore in Kornegay Arena. (Room 226)
