Configuration

Not all machines are made the same. Some of the settings below wont be present on all models.

Canon (Service Mode)

All items that are to be changed in service mode will be in the service mode menu Mode List Service Mode Change Counter Service Mode > Copier > Option > User o Page 2 CNT SW o Page 1 Counter 1 Set this to 102 (If CNT-SW is done first this should already be done) Set this to 1 - To enter into service mode press Settings/Registration then 2 and 8 at the same time then Settings/Registration

Counter 2 Set this to 109 (If CNT-SW is done first this should already be done)

Counter 3 Color Only Machines Set this to 124

Counter 3 Black and White Only Machies Set to 0

Counter 4, 5, and 6 Set all to 0

Dust Detection Level Service Mode > Copier > Option > IMG RDR o DFDST L1, DFDST- L2, DF2DFSTL1, DFDSTL2 Set all to 0

CDS Country Select Service Mode > Copier > Function Install > CDS-CTL o Set to CA To scroll through the different regions press the +/-

Allow Firmware Update from UGW Service Mode > Copier > Option >FNC-SW o Page 3 Set CDS-UGW to 1

Adjust Feeder Paper Size Service Mode > Feeder > Function o Select one of the follow/but perform on all

TRY-A4, TRY-A5, TRY-LTR, TRY-LTRR Move the Document Tray guide to the selected option (There is a sticker on the document feeder that will show where to slide the guide) o Press OK It is completed once the screen says OK!

Configuration Canon (Front Screen)

Front screen configurations can only be done while logged in as admin Settings/Registration>Admin Mode o Login System Manager ID 7654321 System Pin 7654321

Scanner/Fax/I-Fax off Screen Push Image Runner logo on top right hand of screen o Main Menu button display settings Add a blank to #8 Move fax/ifax and Scanner down so they appear on second page

Shortcut Top Right Push Image Runner logo on top right hand of screen o Top Settings Button Select Shortcut 1 and press Copy Select Shortcut 2 and press Fax

Turn off Show All Push Image Runner logo on top right hand of screen o Other main menu settings Display Show all Turn off

Configuration Canon (Copy Screen)
