Craft) I never set out to be an Accountant in my life initially, my ambition was to stu dy Law. My decision to study law then was due to the fact that my mathematics wa s very poor as I never had any interest in the subject. My elder brother had alw ays warned me to be more serious with my mathematics and all his efforts to get me interested in the subject was fruitless. I faced the reality of the need for that subject when it I sat for my School Cer tificate examination (WAEC GCE O/L) and had F9 in General Mathematics. I realise d I had little opportunities in getting admitted into any university in Nigeria if I insisted on studying Law. I knew my weakness, I never passed mathematics from Class 1 to 5 in my secondary school. I knew I was a failure in that area. I was therefore determined to chan ge my perception about mathematics. Without any help or support from anyone I st arted personal study on General Mathematics 1, 2, 3. I finished all the series u p to maths 5 revision series. Studied past questions for over 5 years (WAEC May/ June & GCE Nov/Dec). I did same thing for, commerce and Book Keeping (Accounting ), finished Franck wood 1&2, sat for accounting, mathematics, commerce and 3 oth ers subjects at the GCE O/level Nov./Dec and passed all the subjects with a mini mum grade of C4. ...................The rest is history. The above experience changed my vision about life and I have used the experience to face other challenges in life. With God nothing is impossible!. Whatever, the mind is set up to achieve it will achieve. If you set up to be a f ailure in life you will be a failure. You are the creation of whatever you are t oday and you can change your situation if you want to be. It is all in your hand s. No one is created to be a rich or successful man in life. We as individual are t he one who place a limit on our self. So stop limiting yourself. Yes, at times w e develop some negative feelings in our minds. We start thinking about negative things that will not make our plans a reality, fears, distractions etc. These ar e our own creation. The fact that you have failed before does not mean that it c annot be changed. Failure is signal to work harder and a feedback that we have m ade efforts. Let yours be failing foward..... When you are down always think of other areas you have achieved good results, th ink of your successful areas. Whatever the mind conceive becomes a reality. Thin k positively, attract positive things to your mind, life, home and environment. Move away from negative people attitude. Likes attract likes, positive things wi ll happen to you. Challenge your fears, God has not created us with the spirit o f fears, it is our own creation! Think of positive things you want to achieve today, thank God for making it poss ible. Erase every act of impossibility from your mind. Make that decision today. I know it is not easy and it is not going to be easy, good things don't come ea sily. If it easy for you the end will be bad (though not in all cases). At the e nd of the dark tunnel is light. There is nothing like success made easy, have th

e vision, goal, plan, pray, think, think, think, think, think, challenge your br ain and implement and success is yours. Stop chasing other people vision, create your own vision, you life. What is your value proposition, if you dont have one , create one today. The objective of this write up is to encourage my PCs to move from their comfort zone, change their thought line, believe in themselves, make something in life, be happy, start and own their business. If you don't do it no one will do it fo r you. I want to share my personal experience and that of my friends. I am not t here myself, am still trying and praying to God. If God allows me, I will be sharing how I made good money and lost all including my life savings and my kids trust funds in the stock market and the lesson lear nt. Advise from my best friend not not to borrow (effect of s upporting yourself with positive people) and how that was achived. It will inter est you.
