Steps of electrical fittings of a building 5. Is it possible to think of constructing any type of building whether it is commercial

or residential without taking into consideration the cost of electrical construction? However, most of the time you will observe that we have the idea about the estimated cost of building construction but rely totally on experts for estimation of electrical construction. Cost of electrical fittings of an 1450 square feet moderate flat 12. This is the image of the plan view of 1450 square feet economic flat. In such type of flats, there are usually one master bedroom, two other bedrooms which totals in three bedrooms, one drawing cum dining, one kitchen, two toilets (one with the master bedroom, another is a common toilet that is at the centre of the flat. It also has three balconies (one with the master bedroom, another with the other two bedrooms and the last one is with the drawing cam dining room.

Cost for lights: 13. At first we need to put the lights throughout the flat. First, we need 5 tube lights to be set in the drawing cum dining room (2), master bedroom (1) and the other two bedrooms (2). For this, we can use the tube lights from Phillips company which will cost 200/- per bulb and the total cost for that will be 1000/-. Then we need 14 energy saving bulbs to be set in the drawing cum dining room (4), master bedroom (1) and the other two bedrooms (2), balcony (3), toilets (2), kitchen (1), entrance (1). For this, we can use the bulbs from OSM company which will cost 250/- per bulb and the total cost for that will be 3500/-. So the total cost for total 19 bulbs is 4500/-.

Cost for electrical socket: 14. We generally use four types of electrical sockets in a flat which are 2 pin sockets, 3 pin sockets, multi pin sockets and telephone sockets. As for 2 pin sockets, we need 8 of them, better if its of M.K. brand and per socket will cost 18/- totaling the cost to 144/. Then we need four 3 pin sockets. Usually M.E.P brands 3 pin sockets are good to use which cost 130/- per socket and the total cost will be 520/-. We also need 1 multi pin socket also of M.E.P brand and one telephone socket for which M.K. brand is better to

use. The multi pin socket will cost 320/- and the telephone socket will cost 150/-. So the total cost for 14 sockets will be 1134/-.

Cost for cables: 15. Basically five types of cable are used in this kind of flat. These are 1 x 2.0 R.M, 1x 3.0 R.M, 1 x 4.5 R.M,1 x 1.3 R.M & 1 x 1.0 R.M. 1 x 2.0 R.M cable known as 3-36 cable in market.2 coil (1coil red+1coil black) is needed for the flat.1 coil will cost 2624/(per feet 8/-).so for 1 x 2.0 R.M cable total cost will be 5248/- .1 coil 1x 3.0 R.M cable is needed and total cost will be(per feet 12/- ) 3936/-.1 coil 1 x 4.5 R.M cable is required & total cost will be (per feet 18/-) 5904/-.6 coil (3 black+3 red) 1 x 1.3 R.M cable is needed & total cost will be (per feet 5.30 /-) 10,431/-.1 x 1.0 R.M are known as ear thing cable and 1 coil is required. Total cost for this cable (per feet 4/-) will be 1312/-. Total cost for the cable is 26,831/-

Cost for circuit breaker: 16. Basically 3 types of circuit breaker are used in this kind of flat. They are 6 amp circuit breaker, 10 amp circuit breaker, 20 amp circuit breaker. From market survey we found that circuit breaker of china brand was long lasting. So for this flat total 12 circuit breaker (three 6 amp circuit breaker, eight 10 amp circuit breaker $ a 20 amp circuit breaker) can be used. Price for per 6amp, 10amp & 20 amp circuit breaker is 185/=. So total amount that is needed for circuit breaker is 2220/=. Cost for switch and board: 17. We generally use two types of switch 1 gang switch & 2 gang switch. Gang switch of M.K brand is considered as a good quality switch. We mainly use ten 1 gang & sixteen 2 gang switch in this flat. The cost for per piece of 1 gang & 2 gang are 50/- & 140/- respectively. We also use 1 gang board, 2 gang boards, 3*3 steel boards, 4*3 steel boards here. It is better to use gang board of M.K brand. The cost for per gang board(1 gang & 2 gang) are 17/- & 34/- respectively. As for steel board china brand is available & safe to use. The cost for per piece steel board (3*3 steel boards, 4*3 steel board) are 12/- & 18/- respectively. Cost for other items: 18. In five rooms five ceiling fan can be used of G.F.C brand. The cost for per piece fan is 2500/-.Total cost for five fan is 12,500/-. Ceiling rose can use of normal brand &

per piece cost 15/-.so total 8 ceiling rose will be needed and cost for that will be 120/-.5 bracket may be used of Annasha trading in five rooms. Price of per piece bracket is 185/-.so total cost for bracket is 925/-. 2 bathroom shade are used in two toilet & cost for per piece price is 150/- of china brand. Total cost for bathroom shade is 300/-. One adjust fan of National brand is needed in the kitchen. Cost for adjust fan is 3375/- . A automatic bell is used in the entrance of the flat .The cost for the bell is 400/- .A fire extinguisher of China brand is needed & it will cost 1600/- .There are 22 push holders that are needed of Parvin brand which will cost 396/- (per piece 18/-).A distribution board is needed of brand J.N.B & cost will be 980/-.3 dozen circular box (per dozen 45/) are needed & cost for that will be 135/-. For five fan five regulator is needed & total cost will be 550/- (per regulator of china brand is 110/-). 400 feet pipe is needed of china brand which will cost 880/- (per feet price 2.20/-).A 1 horse Gazi pump will cost 6200/-. Total Cost for other items will be 28,321/- . Summary of all cost: 19. Total cost for light is 4500/- . Total cost for electrical socket is 1134/-. Total cost for cables are 26,831/-.
