PROPOSAL 4 : Replace Skylight Roof Substitute To NO: A-1 Outdoor Sport Central Enhance facilitties PAGE: 1 of 6

ORIGINAL DESIGN: The space of the roof is wasted. Can be useful with other facilities added.

PROPOSED CHANGE: VM team recommends of replacing the skylight roof to flat roof and use the free space available as a sport centre.

ADVANTAGES: More profitable in long term period and can attract more customer.

DISADVANTAGES: It will reduce the aesthetic value of the building and a sport centre is likely to be a bit expensive.

DISCUSSION: Customer attraction can be profitable so it can meet the price of the sport centre.

PROJECT: Larkin Mall PROPOSAL 2 : Large Space Shop Lots Divided Into 2 Units By Using Partition

ORIGINAL DESIGN: The size of certain shop lots are large therefore expensive rental fees occurred. Unsuitable for small and medium size entrepreneur.

PROPOSED CHANGE: VM team recommends using partition to divide large space shop into 2 units shop lot.

ADVANTAGES: Increase the number of shop lots as well as create opportunities to small and medium size entrepreneur.

DISADVANTAGES: Additional cost occurred and large space shops will be reduced.

DISCUSSION: Increase and giving opportunities to small and medium size entrepreneur in addition create more sizes of shop lots to be chosen.

PROJECT: Larkin Mall PROPOSAL 5 : Normal Escalator Switch To Motion Sensor Escalator ORIGINAL DESIGN:

The normal escalator require high energy consumption because the escalator constantly moving even if it unused. PROPOSED CHANGE: VM team recommends using motion sensor escalator for energy saving and long term cost

ADVANTAGES: Reduce energy consumption up to 30% per year and reduce maintenance costs.

DISADVANTAGES: Installation costs are more expensive compare to the normal escalator around RM20, 000.00.

DISCUSSION: This proposal is for long term cost saving because the installation cost are more expensive than other but it reduce energy consumption and maintenance cost.

PROJECT: Larkin Mall PROPOSAL 6 : Reduce kiosk substitute to Eating Corner and Anchor Tenant replace to Eating Corner for Non-smoking area. - Changing space function.

ORIGINAL DESIGN: Too many kiosks and space for Anchor Tenant is not always be functional.

PROPOSED CHANGE: VM team recommends reducing Kiosk substitute to Eating Corner and Anchor Tenant replace to eating corner too become non-smoking area.

ADVANTAGES: Add more seats for customers, separating area for Eating Corner to Smoking Area and Non-Smoking Area.

DISADVANTAGES: Inconvenience for smokers who need good environment while having their meal.

DISCUSSION: Made use of area inside Anchor Tenant, Eating Corner of can attract more customers shopping in Larkin Mall and having meal after they getting tired.
