Ans: Migrate the database, which has already been migrated to Shoper 9, once more. After migration, assign the old Node Id to the Shoper 9 Node Id. For more information on assigning the old Node Id, refer Question 12. Q 15. I am not able to restore the Shoper 7.2 database taken from SQL Server 2005 on SQL Server 2000. Q 19. Can I use a SHFM file, generated from Shoper 7.2 Distributor, to load the Item Masters in Shoper 9? Ans: Yes. It is possible, provided you unselect (disable) the parameter Additional Columns Exist for General Price Revision under the category Item Classification in Shoper 9. Q 20. I had a few sub menu options under Supply Chain Network menu in Shoper HO 7.2. These sub menu options are not available after migration. Ans: All menus are stored in the Security database. The sub menus, which are missing under Supply Chain Network, are the Location Types created during Shoper HO 7.2 installation. Since Shoper HO does not support the migration of the Security database, in the migrated database you will not get these sub menus. Solution: To display the missing sub menu options under Supply Chain Network, you have to define them as Location Types during the time of Shoper 9 HO installation. Q 22. During Shoper HO migration, I am getting an error message, Duplicate records found in ReplVaVerTable, conversion aborted. Ans: You will get this error message, if you are using the Old Installer. To avoid this issue, you need to run the following query manually on the Shoper HO 7.2 database before migration. The query is: Truncate Table replvavertable
Note: You need to take a backup of the Shoper HO 7.2 database before truncating the table.
