03. Relevance of the topic(s) selected (in brief) During the past few decades Gas Turbine Blade Cooling Techniques has gone through various Innovations by Film cooling And Impingement Cooling. The heat transferred to the turbine blade is substantially increased as the turbine inlet temperature is increased. Improved cooling methods are therefore needed for the turbine blades to ensure a long durability and safe operation. The blade tip regions is exposed to very hot gas flow, and suffers high thermal loads due to the external tip leakage flow. So that the performance of gas turbine can be improved.

04. How will these Induction Training Programme going to benefit faculty (in brief) The Program is aimed at recently inducted faculty participants to get acquired knowledge in the Gas Turbine Blade Cooling and its Heat transfer coefficient concepts expose them to the state-of-art technology in Mechanical Engineering. It helps participants in their individual Research works with modern updates in both the Numerical an Experimental Investigations. Emphasis is also given to the existing technology in an effort to make participants become confident with the basics. The knowledge derived from the sessions can be effectively utilized by the teachers for efficient delivery of topics in their classrooms of Mechanical Engineering students.
