Taft Tigersharks/Jim Lippy Invitational

Time: Location: Course: Warm-ups at 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. first event to start at 9:00 a.m. Taft Union High School Pool 1 Wildcat way, Taft 8 Lanes: 25 yards

This will be a cardless meet. There will be no master check-in. All scratches or changes need to be communicated by the coaches to the computer room 30 minutes before the start of the meet. The staging area will be to the northwest of the pool, near the gym. Heat and lane seeding will be printed in the program. Any entry errors must be corrected before the start of the meet and will be accommodated only on a lanes-available basis. Rules: 1. 2. 2012 US Swimming rules will govern the meet. Swimmers must compete in their own age group. The age group is determined by the swimmer's age on the day of the event. mixed relays must consist of one, but no more than two, boys. Two swimmers may move up one age group to compete on a relay team. All events are time-based finals.

4. Entries:

Swimmers may enter no more than 4 events, including relays. Coaches will enter relays on a separate entry form for each relay team ("A", "B", etc.) by 10:00 a.m. on the day of the meet. Entries must be received by Tuesday, June 5th. Please submit entries using Hy-Tek system manager via email. A free version of this software can be downloaded at: http://hy-tekltd.com/downloads.html. Parents and swimmers must submit entries through their own teams.

Team Representatives should be prepared to pay at the end of the meet. Please make checks payable to taft swim club. Medals will be awarded for 1 st through 3rd place. Ribbons will be given for 4th through 9th place. Concessions will be open at 8 a.m.

Timers will be needed from all teams.

Complaints: Parents must direct ALL complaints to their Team Coach. Team coaches must direct their complaints to the Meet Director. The Officials are only contacted by the Meet Director. Officials are only to talk to swimmers as appropriate. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
