Banking services
Uganda has a number of banks, international and local banks. Among the international banks, we have Barclays, Stanbic bank, Standard Chattered, among others. Visa services are also available at the majority of the banks across the cities.
The dates are 14th- 17th June,2012 and the fees still at 95000shs for the nationals and 110000shs for the international delegates. The Conference committee resolved that the fees be paid in Ugandan shillings on arrival. Therefore are requested to convert their money before arrival. Opening ceremony and global village: Kyambogo University
Conference; UGANDA WILDLIFE EDUCATION CENTRE [UWEC] UWEC was opened in 1952 as an animal orphanage. In the early 1960s, it became a zoo, commonly known as Entebbe zoo. In May 1994, the New Zoological society turned it into a conservation education centre for conservation awareness purposes, hence the name Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. It is a place to go to see and learn about animals as a recreation park for the Ugandan public. It is also a rescue and rehabilitation centre and a captive breeding unit for threatened animal species rescued from poachers, illegal trade or accidents.
Visa details The easier way of getting a visa to Uganda is by purchasing it at the entry point, Entebbe Airport or any boarder station. This is very possible to tourists. Fill in an application form with passport dates and information. The visa fee of USD 50 usually runs fro 90 days. You can also get a visa by applying online if you are a citizen from USA, UK, Russia, Italy, India, Germany, Belgium, France, Denmark,China,Canada,South Africa and Japan. All you need is to download the application form from the embassy website of your country origin with two passport photos Visa requirements are subject to change. It is therefore advisable to take advice from the relevant embassies before travelling. A single entry to Uganda is given and on arrival, visitor pass is issued for purposes of having a holiday.
Special events
GLOBAL VILLAGE: The Global Village is a carnival of nationalities which aims to show the culture of different countries and a platform where they can show their customs, tourist attractions, dances, typical food, and opportunities. Every delegate will have to carry something about their culture such as dressing, foods and other related cultural aspects.

EAST AFRICAN YOUTH TO BUSINESS FORUM The Youth to Business Forum will be a daylong event aimed at creating an avenue for business experts to converse with the youth. This will be through a series of parallel workshops, passion talks and delegate discussions.
Entering Uganda Entering Uganda can be by air through Entebbe International Airport aboard Air Uganda, Kenya air ways, precision air and by land through Busia and Malaba in the east from Kenya, Katuna in the west from Rwanda and Mutuluka in the south from Tanzania. There are other inlets like Arua, from southern Sudan and Kasese from Democratic Republic of Congo
