Host 1: It is my pleasure to greet you a lovely afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Gabriel Salvador... Host 2: Host 1: ...and I am Pat Juat, your hosts for this afternoon's exciting event. Since we have an exciting program prepared ahead of us, let us not prolong the eagerness of our audience much longer. Host 2: Host 1: I agree Gabriel. So, ladies and gentlemen, we gladly welcome you to the Fitstruck II "Glad I am Fit", Search For Mr. and Ms. Best Fit 2011! Host 2: Yes and this is hosted by the Physical Education's Department of De La Salle University! Applause from our audience, please. Host 1: We thank the P.E. Department for coming up with this event because this is a reminder for us La Sallians to not only be fit academically but physically as well. Host 2: True that, Gab. This event truly proves how holistic a La Sallian education is. Host 1: Host 2: But before anything else, let us begin with a blessing from our Lord. Here is an invocation from Prof. Melanie Cecile S. Juliano, P.E. Basketball Faculty. Invocation Host 1: Thank you Ms. Juliano. Now let us welcome Ms. Cecilia P. National Anthem Host 2: To formally start our program, let us invite Dr. Elizabeth D. Mascardo, Chair of the Physical Education Department, up our stage to give her welcome address. Welcome Address Host 1: Thanks very much, Dr. Mascardo for that warm welcome. Now, we would like to request Dr. Rochelle Irene G. Lucas, Vice Dean of the College of Education, to also proceed to the stage to deliver her inspirational remarks. Inspirational Remarks Host 2: Again, thank you Dr. Mascardo and Dr. Lucas for your marvelous speeches. Host 1: At this moment, let us advance to the second part of our program which is the awarding ceremony. Part II Awarding Ceremony Host 2: I hope our men and women in their very best attires are ready for this Ceremony, Pat Juat. Host 1: I think they are. So Gab, let us begin to announce the awardees for this afternoon. Host 2: Ladies and gentlemen, for our 10 years Service Award, a warm applause for Mr. Romeo D.S. Rosal! 10 years Service Award Host 1: A decade of service is not an easy task indeed. So sir, we applaud you for your perseverance.

And now distinguished guests, for the 20 years Service Award, let us clap our hands together for, Ms. Cecilia P. Gomez!
20 years Service Award Host 1: A decade of service is already an amazing achievement, what more are two decades? We bow down to you, Ms. Gomez for your unending dedication. Host 2: Moving on, we proceed to the mechanics for the selection of the most outstanding P.E. faculty. Host 1: This will be given to us by Mr. Isabelo R. Magat, Jr., P.E. Table Tennis Faculty. Applause, please. Mechanics for the Selection of the Most Outstanding PE Faculty Host 2: Thank you Mr. Magat. At this moment, for the Most Outstanding P.E. Faculty of the Year, please give the professor a big warm of applause, Prof. Dafrosa Y. Zagala! Most Outstanding PE Faculty of the Year Host 1: Congratulations Prof. Zagala! Indeed, handling hundreds of P.E. students is quite a handful and yet you still continue to provide your excellent service to them. Host 2: Congratulations Prof. Zagala! The third judge is Ms. Jill Samodio the Director of the Cultural Arts Office
Dr. Rochelle Irene G. Lucas, is our fourth judge. She is the Vice Dean of the College of Education Lastly, but certainly not the least is Mr. Edwin Reyes the Director of OSD Wow, Gab! We have outstanding judges in our hands. Let us give them another round of applause.

True, Pat Juat. Moving on, we shift to the most awaited part of today's activity.

The third part of our program is the competition itself.
Part III Program Proper Host 1: And for the mechanics of the Mr. and Ms. Best Fit Contest, let us call on Prof. Rolando M. Panlilio, P.E. Futsal Faculty. Mechanics of the Mr. & Ms. Best Fit Contest Host 2: Thank you Mr. Panlilio. Now that we are informed of the mechanics, let us now take a look of our fit and good-looking candidates in their best formal attires! Presentation of Candidates in Formal Attire Host 1: No one can contest that these candidates are not only fit in the mind, but also
fit and healthy physically. Host 2: It is always nice to know that our La Sallian education can produce such individuals. At this note, we will provide awards for those candidates who were best dressed this afternoon. Host 1: Of course, Pat Juat. So to award the Best in Men's Wear, let us invite Mr. Francisco Antonio C. Borlain on our stage. Awarding Best in Men's Wear Host 2: Congratulations! Undeniably, you deserve to win such award. You look dashing in your attire. Now, for the ladies, may we call on Prof. Dafrosa Y. Zagala, to award the Best in Gown. Awarding Best in Gown Host 1: It is truly undisputed! Congratulations! There is a saying that it is actually how you wear the gown that makes you more attractive. Indeed, you really won it. Host 2: At this point, let us have an intermission number from Mr. Rogelio A. Santos, P.E. Arnis Faculty. Intermission Number Host 1: That was an astonishing performance! Thank you Mr. Santos. Let us move on to one of the highlights of the competition which is the talent portion! Host 2: In this part, we get to see the talents prepared by our contestants. They will be graded by our judges and then a Best in Talent award will be given. Talent Portion (5 Males & 5 Females) Host 1: Pat Juat, the contestants took my breath away!
Host 2: Mine as well, Gab! I think the judges will have difficulty in choosing the contestant worthy of the Best in Talent award. Host 1: Well, let us find out who they chose. To give the Best in Talent award, let us call on Ms. Jill Samodio, Director of the CAO. Awarding Best in Talent Host 2: Host 1: Host 2: I knew that he/she would win! Congratulations! Wow! The competition is beginning to become harder. I agree, Gab! Now, we proceed to the presentation of the candidates in their sports wear! Presentation of Candidates in Sports Wear Host 1: Host 2: Pat Juat, do you have a bet on who will get the Best in Sports Wear? Yes I do, Gab. So let us move on to the awarding to determine who really gets it. We call on Mr. Edwin Reyes, the Director of OSD to give the Best in Sports Wear Award. Awarding Best in Sports Wear (M&F) Host 1: Host 2: Congratulations to the winner! Indeed, that attire will win the hearts of many. Now, for the fourth part of our program, we will have the Physical Fitness Test, as we traditionally do. Part IV - Physical Fitness Test: Host 1: The overall in-charge of the Physical Fitness Test is Mr. Joselito N. Bacani and Mrs. Melanie Cecile S. Juliano. Dr. Elizabeth D. Mascardo will serve as the timer and the starter will be Ms. Janet S. Mariano.
Host 2: Host 1: In this part, the candidates will undergo several fitness tests or set of physical exercises. They will be timed and judged accordingly. These tests are called the 30 Seconds Fitness Performance, Flexibility Test and Reaction Time Test. Host 2: The 30 Seconds Fitness Performance will be composed of the female modified push-up and the male push up. The Flexibility Test are 4 high kicks right and left. Well, let us not delay the excitement! We will now start with the female modified push-up. Host 1: They will be given 30 seconds and Mr. Romeo D.S. Rosal together with Mr. Samson R. Bemales will serve as recorders. *30 Seconds Fitness Performance (female modified Push-up) Host 2: Well done contestants! Thank you Mr. Rosal and Mr. Bemales. Now, we move on to the male push-ups. Again, they are given 30 seconds. Their recorders will be Mr. Louise Mark P. Eballa and Mr. Christopher Olarte. *30 Seconds Fitness Performance (male Push-up) Host 1: Excellent performance! Thank you contestants and to Mr. Eballa and Mr. Olarte. We will now move on to the Flexibility Test which will be 4 high kicks, to the right and the left. The recording will be done by Ms. Merlie T. Acibar and Ms. Ma. Scarlet C. Bautista. *Flexibility Test (4 high kicks right and left) Host 2: Good job contestants! Again, thank you Ms. Acibar and Ms. Bautista as well as to the contestants. Now we proceed to the Reaction Time Test. We will have Mrs. Lovelyn V. Yee, Ms. Chrissie Jill S. San Diego and Ms. Cecilia P. Gomez
as recorders. *Reaction Time Test Host 1: Thank you so much contestants as well as to the recorders, Mrs. Yee, Ms. San Diego and Ms. Gomez. Pat Juat, I think the judges already has a winner in their minds already. Host 2: I think so too, Gab. But in order to give them time to compute all the scores, let us have an intermission number. This is a Video Presentation and Philippine Aerobics. Intermission Host 1: Thank you for that presentation. Now, we come to the fifth part of the program, which is the selection of the 12 finalists. Host 2: Alright Gab, I can now sense the tension in the air. So, here is the selection of the 12 finalists through a question and answer portion. Round of applause please. Part V Selection of the 12 Finalists Host 1: We are almost at the end of our program and we have narrowed down our finalists. That was the question and answer portion, I hope the judges already has decided who will win the awards. Host 2: Yes Gab, I think, like what you said a while ago, that they already decided on the winners for this afternoon's event. So, we move on to the awarding of the winners. Part VI Awarding of Winners: Host 1: To give the 3rd place award, may we call on again Mr. Joey Alejo, Guidance
Counselor, OCCS. The third place, goes to_____________________ 3rd Place Host 2: Host 1: Congratulations! You truly deserve it! Round of applause please! To give the 2nd place award, may we call on Mr. Ismael Thirdie Icasas Former Basketball Varsity Player, Batch 2001. The second place, goes to_____________________ 2nd Place Host 2: Host 1: Congratulations! Your efforts have finally paid off! Applause please! And now to give the 2nd place award, may we call on Dr. Rochelle Irene G. Lucas, the Vice Dean of teh College of Education to be escorted by Prof. Borlain.
