THE SCHOOL CONTENT

I. A . VISION: The Mandanas Elementary School is a well-developed school that produces quality graduates who are well-rounded citizens in the society. B. MISSION: To provide quality basic education that is equitably accessible to all and to lay foundation for life-long learning and service for common goals.

C. GOALS: Mandanas Elementary School is primarily concerned with producing God-loving, morally and mentally upright and highly competent graduates who are equipped with relevant and responsive education and moral values through quality instruction. II. SCHOOL and COMMUNITY PROFILE A. COMMUNITY SUPPORT The school organized PTA organization. The Barangay officials of RH X were very supportive in any problems and needs of the school. Like Brigada Eskwela, in any school programs the stakeholders are there for the school. The school has seven (7), one (1) service contracting preschool teacher, three (3) ALIVE asatidz and one school head working together. Our temporary cyclone wire fence was funded by PTA and EQUALLs2AFI.. B. School: Historical Background On August 24, 2004, a small school was opened with one building, two classrooms and two teachers were encourage to work; Mrs. Arbaya T. Abas as the Teacher-In-Charge. The School name MANDANAS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, was donated by Mr. Vicente Mandanas, with a parcel land area of 1, 762 square meters for the school, situated at Rufo Maara Avenue, Rosary Heights X, Cotabato City. The school can be reached by land transportation it is along the h-way. The school has a title and all legal documents. The people here earned a living by means of tricikad driving, farming, household workers, laborers, scavenger (picking-up recycled materials and living in 2nd class of economic status.

School Programs Restructured Basic Education Curriculum was implemented in our school. Teachers were encouraged to attend trainings, offered by District, Division or the Region. To lessen the number of non-readers, slow learners class was given time to have remedial class. The school followed the DepEd policy of no read, no write. Parents were aware of the program. We implement the reading programs of the DepEd. C. Situational Analysis: 1. 3. Curriculum The following that contribute to the effectiveness of the school are as follows; the RBEC, the BESRA, SIP/AIP, School Based Management, the Instructional Supervision. Reading Programs, Mentoring cum LPP, the Peace Education and Orderliness Situation, Time Management Observe Absenteeism. These things were clearly disseminated during the orientation before the implementation was done so therefore there was no reason to hinder the implementation. 4. *The school based is temporarily fenced with cyclone wire were source out from EQUALLS2 and PTA contributions. Constructed through the efforts of PTA as well as personal of the teachers. The school has two buildings, one storey building with six (6) classrooms and four (4) comfort rooms. A sound system purchased through the school find raising activity. The school equipped with electricity and water facility connected and available to use.
