The simulation of electrostatic discharges is an important part of EMC tests for all types of electronic equipment. Many test standards require pulse voltages of a few kV to 15kV while the automotive industry has even higher requirements. In this case, voltages of up to 30kV must be applied to determine the immunity level. The NSG 4070 is Teseqs next-generation multifunctional immunity test system. It replaces the NSG 2070 and offers expanded functionality plus new features. The NSG 4070 has a broader frequency range of 9kHz to 1GHz and a modular design which accommodates both internal and external amplifiers. The system can be used in a wide variety of applications, including tests according to IEC/EN 61000-46 and various BCI applications. The NSG 4070s signal generator and power meter can also be used to implement test systems for other applications such as IEC/EN 61000-4-3, IEC/EN 61000-4-20, and IEC/EN 61000-4-21.
Powerful and easy-to-use firmware allows the NSG 4070 to be operated independently. However, it can also be controlled by an external PC and control software. The USB port in the front panel can be used with a standard USB memory stick to download test and measurement data for documentation purposes. All of Teseqs EMI receivers can be used in the laboratory to perform CISPR 16 fully compliant EMC testing and highly sensitive, frequency selective voltage measurements, calibrate other measuring instruments, and perform attenuation measurements to verify shielding effect. They can also be used as components in automated emission test systems. The SMR series covers a broad frequency range of 9kHz up to 18GHz and provides a comprehensive user interface for performing even the most complicated measurements in a quick and user-friendly manner. These receivers feature a large color display and provide extensive setup information from the top-level menu. A special feature of the SMR 4503 is its upgradeability to 18GHz. The SCR series receivers are compact, portable and battery powered, which make them convenient to use in automotive and ungrounded test applications.

Coupling/decoupling networks (CDN) in compliance with IEC/EN 61000-4-6 IEC/EN 61000-4-6 specifies the design and performance of a wide range of coupling and decoupling networks (CDNs). Each CDN is specific to a particular type of cable and signal. Teseq offers an extensive range of CDNs which fully comply with the requirements of the standard and provide a simple and reliable method of injecting RF energy into the equipment under test. Decoupling and absorbing clamps Decoupling clamps are available for a variety of different EMC applications. They can provide additional isolation of the test signal from the auxiliary equipment during immunity testing. Near field probe set The near field probe set is a diagnostic tool kit for detecting electrical and magnetic interference fields. Compliance 3 Windows-based Compliance 3 is a new and creative approach to the operation of RF emission and immunity test systems for EMC applications. Accreditation gives confidence in the competence of a calibration laboratory. Accreditation provides confidence in certificates and reports by implementing widely accepted criteria set by the European (CEN) or international (ISO) standardization bodies. The standards address issues such as impartiality, competence and reliability; leading to confidence in the compatibility of certificates and reports across national borders.
The traceable calibration service is ideal for all types of commercial and in-house test laboratories. It uses similar traceable measurement equipment, and almost the same processes.
