Effective School Leadership

(June 25 - 29, 2012)
Effective leaders have a vision for the school success; they set high expectations for student achievement and build the capacity of others by promoting collaboration and Team Work. More so the effective leaders manage people resources and data efficiently to foster school improvement. Effective school leaders recognize and assume a shared responsibility not only for students intellectual and educational development but also for their personal, social, emotional and professional development. Thus taking care of the professional development of leadership ideally by the school becomes instrumental for the school sustainability. The schools that already took care of such needs of their leadership are already reaping the benefits. It is with this in view the Centre for Organization Development (COD) launched the programme on Effective School Leadership. Encouraged with good response in the earlier programmes, the COD has scheduled this programme between June 25 -29, 2012. The programme is meant for the Principals/Vice-Principals/Administrators/Head Teachers/Academic Coordinators of a School/Educational Society.
