WHAT IS MANAGEMENT SIMULATION ?


Management Games is a simulation of real business environment. You get to face the pains and gains of running the company. Participants are confronted with business issues such as to develop a strategy, execute tactics, analyze competitors, and see the business effect of such decisions.

WHY MANAGEMENT SIMULATION?


The philosophy behind the management simulations is "learning by doing" i.e. if you want to learn dance or play an instrument, or fly an airplane, you must practice. Airline pilots practice on flight simulators likewise the business simulator assists the managers to hone up their skills for making smarter business decisions.

CHANAKYA: A BUSINESS GAME


Chankaya is a computer simulated business management game based on specifically created scenarios that focus on developing the business acumen and hone up the decision making skills of people. Conflicting situations induce the Student/Manager Participant to take decisions under extreme pressure, as in real life situations. These situations/scenarios closely resemble business events and are similar to what one encounter in life of the organisation.

HOW CHANAKYA IS PLAYED?


l l l l l Two days' game is spread over five rounds and will be played by 3-4 member teams. Fuctional heads are appointed by team, like CEO, CFO, COO, and CMO. Each team represents an enterprise. Case will be presented to each team with financial reports. The winning criteria will be pre-determined and participants take decisions every round to maximise winning criteria.

The simulation Game is recognized to be the fastest and most cost-effective technique to train and test large number of learners, simultaneously. AIMA has now conducted the Game for over 10,000 participants in 500 corporates and 200 Business Schools across the country in the last 12 years. ABOUT AIMA
In 1957, the All India Management Association (AIMA) was created as an apex body with active support of the Government of India. AIMA was intended as a cause group a body to pool management thought in the country, a forum to develop a national managerial ethos, an organisation to facilitate the furtherance of the profession and its contribution to the society. Today, over five decades later, AIMA is recognised for its national stature, upheld by a broad base of 58 Local Management Associations including two Cooperating Associations abroad, over 30,000 professionals as Individual Members and over 3,000 corporates as Institutional Members. AIMA's activities include Distance Management Education, Management Development Programmes, National Events, Competitions, Research, Publications & Testing services. AIMA is represented on a number of policy making committees of the Government of India, the Indian Institutes of Management, All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and some other professional bodies, besides being an active member of the Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO), which is the Asia-Pacific regional body of the World Management Council.
