From serving as front-desk receptionists to assisting us with fundraising events, our Good Samaritans provide a variety of support and services on behalf of our clients. Our need for Good Samaritans continues to grow each day. If you are looking for an opportunity to join a community of individuals dedicated to providing quality mental health care to people of all faiths and economic backgrounds, call us today. Your gift of time is an invaluable resource for the Center. Krist Samaritan Center holds a volunteer orientation every third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at our main office in Clear Lake. VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT:
FOR KIDS SAKE SEMINAR HELPER
Monitors are needed to oversee children and teens in the child and family waiting room during For Kids Sake seminars, which are held every third Tuesday of the month from 6 -10 p.m. Volunteers should be comfortable interacting with children and teens, and will need to protect client confidentiality and privacy.

Our annual gala, A Samaritan Celebration, celebrates the life made by giving. Funds raised will supplement the Counseling Assistance Fund. A gift of $65 may be applied to sponsor one counseling session for a family in need.
(Please consider a series of counseling sessions.)

FIND A LOCATION NEAR YOU

A gift of $100 may go toward scholarships for Congregational Care training. A gift of $250 may be used to underwrite psychological or educational testing for a child from a low-income family. A gift of $500 may be designated to purchase new computers and software for technology upgrades, such as electronic medical records, which will allow therapists to spend more time with their clients and less time with paperwork.

For many young professionals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), entering the workforce can be a tricky and unsettling situation. Oftentimes, these individuals feel like strangers amongst their peers due to the social impairments that result from ASD.
