Cost-cutting, efficient pellet mill for high production The V-belt pellet mill series PMV offer rock-bottom production costs in the simplest and most efficient pellet mill design available. Proven for more than 40 years of operation, the V-belt pellet mills have fewer parts for less wear, quiet operation and lower maintenance costs. This highly dependable pellet mill produces pellets at the minimum costs per ton. Simplest, most rugged, most efficient pellet mill design The power train features two rugged bearing, a main shaft and the die housing. Internal components are heat-treated stainless steel for corrosion resistance, strength, and long life. The pellet mills are noted for the massive main shafts durable, on-piece construction. The center main bearings can be lubricated from the rear while the mill is running. Long-term, maintenance-free operation V-belt pellet mills delivers long-term, maintenance-free operation for both severe and light duty applications. The resilient V-belt drive protects the pellet mill from severe shock load while the flywheel effect of the large driven sheave smoothes out pelleting surges. Effective feed distribution A unique one-piece adjustable feed plough design uses fewer bolts for fast, easy adjustment. Ensures uniformity of feed distribution across the face of the die ahead of each roll. Taper die fit- the self-piloting effect makes changing dies fast and easy. Once the die has been aligned with the housing, only 3 mm requires full power torque on the die bolts to complete the press fit. Replaceable wear rings in the housing reduces maintenance costs. Designed for longer life - all feed contact parts are made from stainless steel, including the roller main shaft and die housing. Shear pin hub array - protects the shaft against damage from seizing up due to tramp metal. The design enables convenient shaft removal and remote lubrication of the rolls and main bearing. Compact profile, small footprint, and modular design makes the mill easy to fit in your facility. The "die-area to kW" combinations provide increased efficiency and through put whilst maintaining pellet quality, fewer blockages and longer life. The PMV 919W can easily be modified to PMV919XW providing approx. 30% increase in die area or PM919TW giving an increase in die area of approx. 58%. Optional accessories Built in hoist with lifting tools for easy safe die changes. Motorized hoist is also available facilitating quick/easy die change. Can also be used for maintenance at the rear of the machine. Centri feeder device provides uniform feed distribution, even with the most difficult of feed types. Automatic grease lubrication system - for roll bearings and main shaft bearing. Fat-on-die spray system. Range of conditioner chamber available to provide optimum retention time for specific capacity requirments. Computerized pellet mill control system for process optimization.
