THE INFORMATIONS
1. SPELLING BEE

It is an individual competition in which all the competitors have to compete to be the winner by spelling the words given by the adjuducators corretly. The words will be from your handout and/or common words that we have learned. The competitor who can spell the words corretly from the preliminary round to the final will be the winner.

2. VOCABULARY BALL It is an individual competition in which all the competitors have to compete to be the winner by making a word from the last letter given by the rival. For example : APPLE-EGG-GIRRAFE,etc. The adjudicators only give max. 10 seconds to prepare the words on the competition The competitor who can make the rival cannot make the word will be the winner.

3. SPEECH CONTEST

It is an individual competition in which the competitors have to deliver the speech in approximately 5 minutes without bringing a note. The points that the adjudicators will score are : CONTENT (50%), PRONOUNCIATION (30%), and PERFORMANCE (20%). The topics are: STOP GLOBAL WARMING. STOP PIRACY. GO GREEN. FREE SEX.

4. DEBATE

It is teamwork competition using Australasia Style. Each speaker speaks in min. 4 minutes and reply speakers speaks min. 2 minutes. The points that the adjudicators will score are : CONTENT (50%), ISSUE STRUCTURE (30%), and PERFORMANCE (20%). The topics are:

 THBT Miss Indonesia should not join Miss Universe. THBT Scout must be an intracurricullar. THBT the death penalty should be given to corruptors.
THBT we should ban a high technology cellphone.

5. NEWS READING

It is an individual competition in wich the newscasters read the news in min. 4 minutes. The points that the adjudicators will score are : PRONOUNCIATION (50%), PERFORMANCE (20%), and HOT NEWS (30%).
