Angela Colloton elected US President in tightly contested vote

With 99.989% of votes confirmed, Angela Colloton has been elected president of the United States with 44.3% of the overall vote. The election hinged on California where the Republican candidate only won 36.1% of the vote. The House and Senate elections confirm a divided government with the left-liberal block maintaining control in the Senate and the right-libertarian alliance achieving a slim majority in the House. Angela Colloton and her vice president Michaela Martin accepted news of the victory from her campaign Headquarters in Washington, FDC. This is a great day for the United States, said Colloton, as we build an America united in its desire to move forward and build a better world. Seattle Knights help Local Communities to Keep Safe

Human-First Bomb Plot Foiled at All Hallows Festival

Dark Star Security assisted by independent specialists literally defused a plot to detonate a bomb in the Touristville crowd of the All Hallows Festival.
While one or more radical Human-First groups were involved in the attempted bombing, Humanis and other Human Rights policlubs quickly moved to distance themselves from the bombers. We do not advocate violence in the advancement of our noble goals, said Mary-Sue Watson, President of Humanis-Seattle. Experts estimate that the bomb could have killed hundreds of people. The concerts in Touristville attracted 35,000 listeners over two days, the majority of whom were metahumans according to observers. Lone Star, assisted by Dark Star Security, is investigating local radical groups to ensure that no other violent acts are committed by these terrorists.
