Time: 20 minutes Section 1. You must answer questions 1-5 before moving on to questions 6-10. You will not be allowed to return to review these questions. -The main Pokmon games all include many progressions and processes that are not necessarily permanent. -These progressions and processes can apply to places, items, events and Pokmon themselves. -Each progression and process can be said to have phases and stages. -Below are 7 possible progressions/processes. -Arrows show the movement from one phase/stage to the other. Question marks do not mean that the stages do not exist; they just mean that the stages have been purposely left out. As an example, in number 6 we see that Gurdurr and Conkeldurr are involved in an evolutionary process where Gurdurr and Conkeldurr are the stages. 1 ? In HG/SS/G/S/C (1) you can FLY to Indigo Plateau/Victory Rd. from Saffron (1) and then FLY AGAIN from Indigo Plateau/Victory Rd. to Olivine (1). Answer MUST be clear to earn full credit. (note: you can only Fly to Mt. Silver from a Johto location as it is defined as a strictly Johto region even though you can walk to Mt. Silver in Kanto) (OR: could travel by biking/walk/surfing from Saffron to Olivine. As long as answer is logical and does not involve a boat or train. Must say (1) its possible and then describe 3 points leading from Saffron to Olivine. Teleport could also work (if stated that last Pkmn Center used is in Olivine. Teleport is used if youre first in Saffron BUT THEN travel to a another/nearby route to use it. YOU CANNOT USE TELEPORT IN SAFFRON ITSELF) Give partial credit in 0.5 increments appropriately.

Section 2. You must answer questions 6-10 before moving on to questions 11-15. You will not be allowed to return to review these questions. Question 6: All the wings (Health Wing, Muscle Wing, Resist Wing, Pretty Wing, Genius Wing, Clever Wing, Swift Wing) give a Pokmon a +1 effort value point in a particular stat. (1 pt) ANSWER: FALSE. DEF. / ITS ABILITY TO LEARN AND EFFECTIVELY USE DEFENSIVE MOVES / ITS MARVEL SCALE ABILITY (Boosts Defense by 50% when hit by a status move.) Question 13: Consider the following Pokmon that belongs to Pokmon Trainer Melissa (she is the original trainer). She first saw this Pokmon at Mt. Coronet and still owns this Pokmon in Platinum.
