The Booming Asian Economy: Its effect in the Philippines

Asia. It is the largest and most populous continent. In the past decade, it is evident that the economies of Asian countries are significantly rising. But what are its effects to our country? A few indicators of a rising economic level are high quality education, lively markets and decent houses and healthcare. We can see this on other countries in Asia but definitely not in the Philippines. Yes, we can see a trace of these in our country (namely, the developed cities such as Makati) but we cant conclude that the Philippines is one of the countries in Asia that has a booming economy. As for its effects to our country, on my own perspective, the only positive effect that I can see is that Investors from other countries, particularly from the developed western countries, may be interested to invest on a business venture here in the Philippines. The rest of the effects that I can see is that we can already boast that we are Asians. We can prove once again that whatever any race can do, Asians can also do (In a more supreme manner).

The Booming Asian Economy: Its effect in the Philippines

Asia is the largest and populous continent. It is also the continent that has most of the countries that are subject to racism of other countries. In the past decade, Asias economy has been rising evidently. In most of the continents countries, the economical status is rapidly increasing particularly in the oriental countries such as China and Japan. Does this economic phenomenon affect our country? Philippines economy has been evidently low from 80s to present. The economic status of the Philippines has been drastically unstable until the present day. The citizens are probably blaming all the Presidents that have taken the seat at the Malacanan Palace. We can see that today, the economic status of the whole Asia doesnt affect our country directly. We still have a huge number of unemployment and a pretty low quality of education (in some rural areas that cannot be easily reached by the Education Sector.) A sign of good economic status for me is the capacity of a country to accommodate all the graduates for a decent job. This is still not achieved by our government. And also, easy recovery from a tragic calamity is another indication for me.

On a lighter side, the possible positive effects of the Rising economy of Asia are that Businessmen from the western countries may be interested to invest for a business venture in our dear country.
