This Magazine is created as a challenge to my capabilities of trying something new.Currently there are many outstanding talents in the media that are yet to be brought to light that people are aware of. Not guaranteeing that it would by this magazine but there are chances of publicity through word of mouth now after flipping through the next few pages.... Here, I have potrayed to my knowledge of a couple of my best friends that I got to know not too long ago who are remarkably talented and struggling to niche a position in this competitive cine industry. Jack Prabhu (Born as Jegadish Prabhu on 4th May) is an upcoming actor in the Tamil Industry. He is regarded as one of the promising and finest talents among his peers. The youngest of four siblings grew up in Triplicane , Chennai, though his family roots hail from Mannargudi. He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Applications from MGR Engineering College. As per his Facebook biodata, he states that he has no interest in an academic computer field. From his words, we can clearly see that he loves cinema, acting, dancing and would love to direct a movie in the near future. He describes himself as a Lonely Wolf and often keeps to himself. He believes in himself and his passion to succeed in his dreams to be STAR. While interviewing his friends and enquiring around his friends circle, we understand that he is a gem of a person. He has inspired and guided people through his advices and philosophical quotes and thoughts. There

are followers who really worship his genuine concern and advice. Being such a responsible, influential and intellectual person, he is yet so humble and down to earth. He is crazy about movies that he would see the same movie umpteen number of times without a frown on his face. Each time he watches the same movie, he learns a new prospective in the way it was enacted or portrayed and holds discussions with his friends. He started a club called Raging Bull Actors Club in 2008 for aspiring artists like him who are struggling the way he is to get a niche in the cine industry. Various workshops are conducted by himself and through guest speakers to motivate the fellow aspirants. Coming up next is a personal interview with Jack and more information of his acting club.

Your biodata looks interesting, has anyone mentioned that you are interesting as well ? Errmmm, yes. Describe 3 words of what you think of yourself. Hard Worker Ever. MCA graduate, but still fighting strong for your passion, a very daring move in your career path, how are you coping with this? There is nothing to cope up with this, this is my decision and interest, I have never thought about it in that way, I have decided to go with my passion. Describe JACK in 5 words. Someone Trying To Be Better. How did you come up with the idea of starting RBAC? After finishing my diploma in acting, I have been trying for roles in big screen, it is definitely not easy in the present industry, when I had this gap while trying to get into the film industry, I started losing my form in acting. Acting is something like cricket and dancing. We have to be in form always, so I needed a platform to practise and brush up my skills. So I thought why not start this club for everyone who wants to be in the same line just like me. After setting this club, I had started to meet various talents who dont have any clue about acting and networking. RBAC has been very useful for such aspirants to mould them to be a better performer. We have seen many workshop videos of your applauding impeccable performances...With whom have you always fel comfortable with and had a great chemistry with (in terms of acting of course) Hahaha...Subash and Karthik What There actor, dence about would you like to convey to your members through this? is a difference between passion and interest, not only as an in any field we need confidence in doing things, without confiwe cannot achieve anything big, So, its not what others think you, its about what you think of yourself.

Your RBAC members talk very highly of you, what have you got to say about that? I would like to thank them for their support and dedication. Im very fortunate to have them in this club.

Understand that you have interests in Direction as well, when can we expect your debut in that? I dont know. Focused on acting as of now. I have great respect for direction, so I wont direct a movie unless I am certainly confident about it. I will at least need 10 years experience in film making before directing my debut movie...

What or who is Jack apart from Cinema? There is nothing if Jack and Cinema are seperated? Everything that goes in my mind is all about Cinema Cinema Cinema...I cant imagine anything apart from that.... Who is considered a good actor? I believe that there is no good or bad in acting...It all depends on taste of an individual and how they view or grade and actor. Its either stated as One can act or cant... What keeps your fire growing within you? FAILURE!!!

Are you acting in any movies now if so how was your experience. Yes, I am and I would say I am happy...no further comments. What kind of roles are you eager to act in or looking forward to? I am open to all characters...I would love to explore many roles... Moving over to your personal life Just as a General Knowledge for your Girl Fans out there :) Are you currently attached? Nope. Name 2 people that you would like to thank or say sorry to?? I would like to thank 2 people. Firstly Dad, for inspiring and making me understand myself and how to believe in myself. Secondly Kamal Haasan for inspiring me to get into Cinema. Millions of Kolaveri Fans enjoyed the Kolaveri Flash Mob that you guys did at Spencer plaza. How was your experience dancing in front of the unknown crowd? How was it to co-organize the event? It was very interesting. Thanks to Padma Akula. It was my first time and I had a lot of work to do. I managed it with lots of patience. There were a few hiccups but we managed it. I will try to enjoy myself the next time we do such a thing, as I missed the fun stuff while organizing it. Can we expect more publicity stunts in future by your team? I am very bad at these publicity stuff. I have to learn it more...Yeah sure why not :P Name us a quote you love and follow... All we need is love. Hate less and love more. If there is one thing you would change about yourself, what is that? I have to take care of my health. Some think that I have bad attitude, actually i dont, i just dont interact much, I will get rid of it. The club aims at tapping the acting talent among individuals, flushing out fear and providing a connection to the industry through the various film personalities who visit our club to guide us and to audition for their ventures.

We meet every Sunday at 5:30 am on Elliots beach; each workshop is preceded by research and script development by the core team, sometimes to the detail of shot division and sometimes with on location improvisation in mind. Owner, Mr Jack Prabhu tells us more about his club below; The Advanced Actors Workshop will tackle principles in acting such as script analysis, character analysis, concentration, improvisation, proper use of ones voice, and sense memory. Students will then get a chance to practice and showcase their skills by performimg at the end of the workshop.

What would you like to say to your friends and family? I know that I am a little tough to manage, thank you for loving me for what I am. I am bad in expressing myself, but its doesnt mean that I hate you. I love you all :)

So far, the club has been more of a family who understand the problems of a non-commercial club, and we request our future members to join with the willingness to undergo the struggle required to get into the film industry. Raging Bulls Actors Club 15

Actors Workshop will give aspiring performers a sound foundation in basic acting principles, as well as provide them with the proper tools to turn out stirring and memorable performances. Students will be treated to fun and learning through acting games and exercises that inspire creativity and excite the mind, body, and spirit. There will also be training geared toward enhancement of the senses, the use of focus and concentration, observation, and most importantly, personal development. Our Workshop utilises learning techniques that open up possibilities within each actor and salute the very best in each individual. Voice Class was created to provide students with an integrated approach to the study of basic vocal technique and the power of the voice. It is an intimate and dynamic class that will work on relaxation, concentration, and embodying a character by speaking through the dialogues.

The Workshop truly promises to be an exciting time to hone talent and discover new skills, and is geared up for the exhilarating ride. This Actors Workshop ultimately aims to train a future generation of actors for roles in the upcoming movies.

airconditioned roof at The Club House at Purasawakam with more upgrades to its facilities, teaching techniques & methods. We charge a minimal fee every month to accomodate the extra voice training, discussions, movie screenings, improvisations, acting advancement skills, short film creations, auditions and recommendations, media contacts networking etc and all that are required to climb the ladder to success in the cine field. To get a clear picture of what usually goes on at these special early morning sessions at the beach, you may go online to youtube to view all the dialogue performances that takes place after their practice sessions. The correct modulation, dialogue delivery are corrected individually and the reason why these performance is recorded is to view and correct the mistakes and to improve the areas of weakness in terms of expression, posture, angle, modulation, pronounciation etc. There are over 300 videos uploaded in different genres displaying each of their individual talents and specialities...From classical dramatic performances to comedy dialogues which are written by each individual potrays their interest in acting and cine through all aspects. We have seen many workshop videos of your outstanding performances.Really very impressive. Thank you. With whom have you always felt comfortable with and had great chemistry with. Ram, Madhu and Subash are my favourite partners while acting Just watched your debut as a director in Kadhalikka Neramillai short film. What made you croon the directors seat instead of acting in this and how was that experience? I have always wanted to improve myself in direction and now I had an instict of starting it and did this film. I love anything and everything with respect to films and film making. After all it is m only passion. Can we expect more directions from you in the future? Yes, I am going to take this as a serious job and you will be seeing more under my direction soon in the near future. Tell us how you manage to juggle your office job and passion inspite of your tight schedules. I work during the evening time from 6pm to 3am and also during the weekends on my acting and directing skills. What is your advice or tips for emerging cine enthusiasts like you? Visualize things and make it presentable. People are there to encourage if you really think about their happiness and smiles on their faces. A simple light hearted smile after a watching a movie is what success is all about in this field. Acting or Direction - Which is your priority?? Always Acting. Direction is my long term career plan But right opportunity, whichever first will make full use of it. Your counter timing dialogues are really good, how would you want your audience to view you as a Comedian or a Hero. Although people treat me like a comedian as my biggest inspiration is to Jim Carrey...I would prefer my audience to view me as a Good Performer. Moving over to your personal life Are you currently attached? I am and have been single for a very long time......

Tell me a bit about yourself that we all dont know... I am a person who finds good in everything,...I love to laugh and make others laugh...I am very straight forward and share things very frankly...I love my nation and appreciate everything in it. I LOVE INDIA. How did you get to know of Jack and his RBAC workshops? I should thank ORKUT for making me associate with Jack and RBAC. How long have you been an active member of RBAC and what have you learnt so far? I am an active member from 2008, just a few months after its inception. Whatever I do in acting and film making, I learnt it from RBAC. Describe Jack in 5 words. Raging Budding Actor of de Century (RBAC) Any message you would like to convey to your Guru? Jack transformed from just another person in my life to being my GURU. Thanks is not enough to show my gratitude to Jack. He is definitely the next biggest thing in the fim industry. A Fantastic Team of 40 participants were gathered via Facebook to attend this flash mob. Countless hours of practise and hard work paid off on 28th Jan 2012 at Spencers Plaza Chennai. This Flash mob experience was a precious memory for all. It was a bloom to new contacts and friendships. It was certainly a tough job organizing the event from remote locations and despite several hurdles & tight schedules, it was definitely a great success and nothing else mattered.

Prabhu Sathya : My first experience with the flash mob was in YouTube a tribute to Michael Jackson it was soo nice 200 ppl danced for it... after it I saw many on the net and this added to the list of the things to do before I die ;) then was the Mumbai Central Flash mob... I was so moved by it for 2 reasons dedicated to terror attack victims and this was happening... in India... was thinking when is this going to happen here... Auckland Kolaveri flash mob took me by surprise n the best part was my best friend was part of it... gr8.... then came the organizing event flashed in my Face book Woooow initially I accepted it as maybe as I hand many work commitments later i decided this is my chance in hand and I dint want to miss it...rescheduled all my work to shake my leg which I have never done before :). First day rehearsal went fine next day i remember the steps but not even a single link to the sequence. When i reached the Spencers i was totally blank... i dint know where i got the energy went there and did what i had too.... it was all over in minutes... but the memories of it i will be cherished for ever :) . So, next time when you hear about any flash mob thats happening in town, do not give that a miss..Let your hair down and shake a leg....Relieve yourself from your routine work, make new friends, dance your stress away amd make people around amaze about your energy and spirit...
