IN TODAYS GOSPEL
Lk. 1:61-64 But his mother said in reply, "No. He will be called John." But they answered her, "There is no one among your relatives who has this name." So they made signs, asking his father what he wished him to be called. He asked for a tablet and wrote, "John is his name," and all were amazed. Immediately his mouth was opened, his tongue freed, and he spoke blessing God.

and the church was packed to the doors at Masses, morning and evening, in his honor. Everybody loves St. Anthony. He was, by all accounts, a gentle and humble person who was kindly and persuasive in his preaching and strong in his defense of the rights of the poor. Anyhow, only one person can buy the icon for the Chapel, but we do have St. Francis and St Clare as well as otherssolets talk!! Wishing you a peaceful week ahead,
Fr. Adrian

SCHOOL NEWS: OMMS CHRISTMAS IN JULY ARTISAN FAIR RETURNS FOR 35TH YEAR OF SUMMER FUN
What says summer more than carnivals, snow-cones, and rummage sales? How about all of that plus a little Christmas shopping? The carnival will bring festive rides and exciting games immediately adjacent to the Artisan Fair, beginning Fri., July 13th at 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., and continuing Sat. and Sun. from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m. In addition to the artisan fair, Christmas in July boasts a farmers market full of fresh flowers and locally grown fruits and vegetables, amazing deals at the popular Sister Gladys rummage sale, and homemade baked goods, ethnic foods, and traditional festival favorites such as sno-cones and hotdogs. NOTA CATEQUITICA
