Own words NGO has been a very important part of this nation and even the world.

They provide ordinary people with information that theyre governments dont want them to know. In our shadow report we will discuss what the government has reported is very different with what the NGO has reported on the implementation of the international covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights.

The report indicated that the present situation of the Philippines have been deeply rooted problems of massive poverty, ballooning population partly due to inconsistent policies, disparity between economic classes, lack of jobs and livelihood opportunities, labor outmigration, culture of impunity, corruption, subtle and outright suppression of democratic rights, foreign and domestic debt, and armed conflict. The people are suffering because the government is gaining. One good example is the treatment of the OFWs in the Philippines wherein OWWA have a $25 fee for people while OWWA stands for the welfare not burden for the living heroes of this country who is the main reason why we are still here today. Another example is that we have been uninformed of the many treaties or provisions or debt agreements the government is entering and as a citizens of this country we should be communicated about this and should know what we ought to do as a citizen of this country. There is also disparity in terms of everything, from Action to Information because the people primarily in the NCP are only given special attention where truthfully the government must invoked a wider economic perspective plan in order for provinces outside of Manila to make use of their own resources and make themselves more progressive, not making the Imperial Manila their milking cow. The media should also be mobilized not always concentrating on Manila but also giving importance to the welfare of the citizens of this country. They should be the one knocking on the government for the citizens and they should not be biased or politicized by known influential family or a few people. The main problem in this country is not poverty, nor corruption, nor the government but the people themselves. As Mr. Chiz Escudero said, they should not depend on the government for the sole purpose of their own convenience and their survival because the government is only there to give direction and as a temporary remedy. They should be wise enough to have disciple on themselves and initiative on their part to help educate themselves and to bring them out of poverty.
