WRVR Troubleshooting Guide

Problems ATC reported no display on screen/ black screen Possible causes 1. Monitor on power saving mode/screensaver 2. Monitor turned off 3. CPU turned off 4. No power to monitor 5. No power to CPU 6. Monitor faulty 7. CPU faulty Actions 1. Move PC mouse or press any keys on keyboard 2. Turn on the Monitor 3. Turn on the CPU 4. Turn on power supply 5. Make sure power cable connected properly 6. Try to change monitor to test 7. Inform MET KLIA the ATC CPU/Monitor is faulty 1. Provide the ATC with the correct IP Address 2. Ask them to check other website (email/google/yahoo). If cannot access then ask them to call the tower internet service provider. 3. Make sure the network port light is blinking to confirm the cable is connected properly 4. Change network cable 5. Turn on the network switch 6. Refer to #3 7. Turn on the adapter 8. Replace the adapter 9. Make sure the adapter cable is inserted properly 10. Refer to #4 11. Realign the Access Point or the Subscriber Module and do a ping test until connection is established 12. Replace the Access Point 13. Refer to #7 14. Refer to #8

ATC operator reported cannot access METairport/WRVR display/Public IP/192.168.101.50

1. IP address entered in the navigation bar is incorrect 2. Internet is down (for Civil Airport) 3. Network cable is not connected properly to the CPU network port or to the Network Switch/Router 4. Network cable is damaged 5. Network Switch is turned off 6. Access Point cable does not connected properly to the Network Switch (Military Airport) 7. Access Point adapter is turned off (Military Airport) 8. Access Point adapter is faulty (Military Airport) 9. Access Point adapter cable is not properly connected to the Access Point (Military Airport) 10. Access Point cable is damaged (Military Airport) 11. Access Point is not in the line of sight with the Subscriber Module (Military Airport) 12. Access Point is damaged 13. Subscriber Module adapter is turned off (Military Airport) 14.
