EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The industries selected for sample size were segmented according to the product manufactured and size of the respective company. The data collected during the project was primary as well as secondary data. Primary data was collected through the questionnaire filled by company authorities visited. The secondary data was collected to create the database of the survey. The sources used for secondary data are various magazines, governmental & non-governmental publications and internet. Some websites regarding information on various industries in Pune were also visited to get the information of particular Area.

The analysis was carried out on the basis of the information obtained from questionnaire. The business opportunities were estimated by some assumptions for the services offered by the Consultech. From the analysis it is concluded that the company has a good potential for generating business for Industrial Paint booths in Pune Region. The scope of this summer project includes evaluating Consultech in terms of price, general complaints about Consultech product in market, identifying and collecting reviews regarding Consultech quality, and establishing necessary steps and promotional tools.
At its Pune Corporate Office in the Marketing Department, Consultech is actively involved in pursuing the prospective customers to help them to improve the productivity and maintain clean environment. During the period of two months between June and Sept, 2011. I conducted an awareness drive wherein, I went to the listed customers and met them to explain the benefits of the paint booths.

Objectives of study: Every research study needs certain objectives which gives the study its parameters and a defined framework. Lack of this framework results in the project becoming vague and it then becomes very difficult for the reader to find out what the researcher actually wants to highlight. The objectives are listed as below.

The geographical scope of this research is Pune Analysis for new upcoming market for Industrial paint booths. Many of the companies are planning for expansion and in this survey
researcher tries to find out the requirement of paint booths in these new companies which will helpful for developing future plans.

The researcher has surveyed the selected MIDC of Pune district which is listed as below:-

From the listed region visited by the researcher 100 companies were surveyed during the project period.

Sampling technique used by me was Deliberate Sampling since the sample list was given by Consultech
Research instrument
The researcher used the questionnaires to collect the information about the need and requirement of the Paint Booths.

Contact method
The researcher during the survey visited the companies on cold visit basis. If it was not possible to collect the information from cold visit then a prior appointments was taken of the concerned person who could provide the necessary information about the paint booths. Even if it was not possible to collect the information then researcher used the observation method to collect the information about the paint booths being used by the respondents. Along with the observation method the researcher conducted the telephonic interview of the various respondents from the sample unit surveyed.
Primary Data:
It is the method in which the data is collected by on field research. These are the data collected or gathered specially for the project in hand. The sources of primary research are Personal Interviews Questionnaire Interviews Telephonic Interviews Survey Method Observations

This method of data collection is quite popular, particularly in case of big enquiries. It is being adopted by private individuals, research workers, private and public organizations and even by governments. In this method, a questionnaire is sent to the persons concerned with a request to answer the questions and return questionnaire. A questionnaire consists of a number of questions printed or typed in a definite order on a form or set of forms.
The researcher collected the data by visiting 100 companies in the industrial region of the MIDC of the Pune. Personal interview and telephonic interview were used for data generation in raw form. The data was noted down on the questionnaire form used by the researcher. This data collected by him was a source for analysis and conclusions were drawn from it. The secondary data are those which have already been collected by someone else and which have already been passed through the statistical process. Secondary data may either be published data or unpublished data. Usually published data are available in: 1. Various publications of the central, state or local governments; 2. The large scale industries in Pune area are large in number. Thus the demands of large scale organizations are of great importance to be considered for further upgrades in the products.

The large scale companies in Pune area are large in number. Thus the demands of large scale organizations are of great importance to be considered for further upgrades in the products. It was found that respondents give first preference to the product price followed by past experience. Name wont help to push the product until continuous follow up is made. Most of the customers are satisfied from the service provided by the carrier. In this survey it is found that there is good potential for industrial paintbooths system in Chakan, Nagar Road and Shirwal MIDC. Consultech Engineers CE has huge market to target segments like Engineering and Auto Ancillaries. In this region 44% of companies have plans for expansion which has requirement of paint booths.. Consultech is the one of the brand accepted by many companies in Pune MIDC area for Paint Booth. It is found from this survey that around 90% customers of CE are Satisfied with the product and they can be our recurring customer.

CE have great chances to increase sale, provided company educatethem about importance of industrial paint booths.

Suggestions In the survey of 100 company, researcher got some suggestions from the consumers which are mentioned below: Company should improve their service after sales. Company should create more awareness about new development and new upcoming technology as well as various services available for customer. Company should provide the technical support periodically to understand the problem of the client. Company must watch and scan the competitive environment including Taikisha and Patwin. Company should make the two different strategies for their existing customers and new customers. Management has to look and work on the cost of production. The efforts have to take on reducing cost of production. There is vast scope for product, so effective marketing strategy must be implemented. Proper credit facilities are to be provided to customers.

Conclusion After research it was found that there is a good potential market available for industrial paint booths system in Pune industrial area. In Pune most of the companies are well aware about the paint booth system and its special features. Majority of respondents give first preference to the product price followed by past experience. CE have some weakness like no proper updates available to consumers, the price policies of Consultech are less competitive. Regular service engineering support is not available to existing customers. Consultech Engineers have good opportunities because still large market to be captured as new MIDC area is being allotted by the government. As in the survey it was found that many companies are aware of paint booth system which is having a great potential market in future.

LIMITATIONS

Limitations Of The Project: The project had the following limitations. Some of the companies do not allowed entering in premises due to security purpose. Certain questions which are not properly responded by respondents. Due to time constraint, some respondents didnt discuss the subject for sufficient time. Convincing was tough and hence extract vital information from as when being told that I am a summer trainee, the responses would No or would be that the executive officer was out of office and being the assistant of him, he was not able to answer. Taking appointments of the Maintenance Managers or Production Manager of the some of the big companies was a very difficult job.
