Stonhelm, Keep on the Borderlands Level 5 With the Exodus of Winterhold a massive success, Shadow Squad must locate

the renegade necromancer, Heinrich Kemmler. He has been tracked to Stonehelm Keep, which is about 80 miles East from Hammerfast. Shadow Squad must travel to Hammerfast and gather as much information as possible which they will use to help organize an all-out assault on this stronghold. Information on Hammerfast Hammerfast is the capital of the Nentir Empire. Historically this was chosen by the legendary dwarven king Sao Den, since this was his city of birth. In less than 10 years Hammerfast was quickly transformed from a small dwarven town to a sprawling underground metropolis. Of course more than just dwarves live here (even if they do make up a great deal of the population), as families of all "common" races may be found. Some "civilized" folk of the "barbarian" races call the city of Hammerfast and her surrounding mountains home.

Resources might seem scarce, but the Storm Warden and Shadow companies have been driven out of their military capital. In other words the resources you have in spite of recent events are quite abundant. Most of the brave soldiers in both regiments died honorably defending the town with their last breath, holding the line to provide escape for the citizens and their military bodyguard. Shadow squad can, of course, continue with what they have now; or, they can recieve the following additional war resources by performing their corresponding tasks. 20 scouts from a Hunter's Guild location, a barracks, a Cartographer's Guild store, or an Expeditions Guild location. 40 sappers from the Mining Guild (20) the Archaeological University (10) or the Republic of Agriculture (10). 175 soldiers from the barracks. Mercenaries can also be hired by paying 50 gold pieces for every squad of 10. 9 snipers. The bartender will tell you about the Longshots, an elite group of Special Forces snipers. The Hunter's Guild can also volunteer an additional D6 snipers. 14 priests from a temple. 10 mages. The bartender will mention the College of Arcane Studies and Magical Resources (Also known as the Guild of

Sorcery). 4,000 gold can be obtained from the bank by purchasing or collecting a sovreignity bond at the bank. Alternatively, the gold can be earned by performing tasks for citizens of Hammerfast, sales, donations or reverse engineering. 5 artillery cannons (can repair or reverse engineer the damaged cannon) at an Industrial Guild's Manufactorum. 2 zeppelins in (condition 100%) at an Aviation Guild's Skyworks 3 aeroplanes (condition 100%) at an Aviation Guild's Skyworks No naval support available. The Dawnmist Mountains are landlocked, so the Imperial Navy and the Sailor's guild have no presence in Hammerfast.
