God is Love and Love conquers all Dear believers The bible says that as a Christian for us to be fruitful

in all we do and in the gifts of the Spirit of God we ought to have the true love of God in us. This can all be shown by the way Paul was expressing himself in the following scripture: If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.(1 Corinthians 13:1-3) What really is love. Love is the very character of God himself that is why the bible says He
that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. From the above verse we are shown what it is not to love and also what love is. Put in simple terms from the above scripture we realise that love is simply knowing God, If you know God you now that he wants us to love Him and to love each other. Take for instance if you know that God loves a cheerful giver and also know that God says in his Word The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered.(Proverbs 11:25) So you wouldnt remain stingy but instead you will we express your love through giving the needy knowing the very character of God that he will make you more prosperous if you are generous.
So how do you know God?, How do you love? The answer is you should learn to read his scriptures, yield give your heart to them and meditate upon them to an extent that they become your common thought pattern as you would always know what to do and when to do it and as a result act in Gods love. Jesus himself who is described to have had the greatest love on earth as the bible says Greater love has no one than this that someone lay down his life for his friends.(John 15:13) and yet Jesus Christ did it for us all. And the bible clearly shows that Jesus Christ knew God since a tender age , he had interest inHis fathers business to an extent that one time at Passover His parents missed him on their way from Jerusalem to Nazareth as he had stayed behind for three days in the midst of scribes and doctors of the Law/Word in the temple and they were astonished at his level of understanding:
Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. 44But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 48And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? 50And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.51And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.52And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.(luke 2:41-52)

This shows that Jesus knew God and hence he was loving.

But you should also know that as a child of God you already have the love of God resident in you because you are partakers of Gods divine nature who himself is love so you have the love inside you already execise it for it is written :

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost [NKJV: Holy Spirit] which is given unto us. Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. We have received the Love of God already so take advantage of its benefits in your new life for for the bible says : Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.(1 Cor 13:8-12)
