DAILY LESSON PLAN FOR YEAR 2 Name: Focus: Language Arts Topic: Family (Lizas family) Lesson Summary

: In the set induction stage, teacher shows a picture of a family and asks pupils to share about their family. Then, during presentation stage, teacher recites the poem and demonstrates the actions while pupils listen and repeat after her. Teacher reads aloud the bold words and have pupils repeated after her. In the practice stage, pupils recite the poem with actions. Teacher says out a word and pupils match it with the picture. For the production stage, teacher gets pupils to write the poem on the A4 paper and draw picture based on the poem. Teacher gives worksheets to them. Teacher is to refresh student of what they have learnt at the closure stage. Content Standard : 2.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning. 4.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to enjoy and appreciate rhymes, poems and songs, through performance. 4.3 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to plan, organize and produce creative works for enjoyment. .
