Only Two Weeks to go!

The childrens places in years 2 and 3 are now completely full, and the team of over a hundred adults and young people are all trained and looking forward to the week. Its going to be a fantastic time (as always) for everyone; please do pray for the preparations to run smoothly, and that all the children who come along will have a great time learning about God. Even if you can't be involved in the Holiday Club please do book your place for the bbq on Sun 5th when you can help us to chat with families who came to the Holiday Club. Jenni Botfield is still on the lookout for empty plastic containers from Chinese take-aways or margarine tubs for one of the craft activities: please get in touch with her if you have some she can use.

The Perils of Paul!

our series of all age talks this summer continues our focus on Paul and his call to mission as told in the book of Acts: how God worked in him and through him as he journeyed. We will be looking at what this means for us as a congregation serving in our local community, and how it inspires what we do.

Fifth Sunday Fun

Sunday service and bbq on Sunday 5th August: We are all together at Wallington Girls School where we can get a flavour of the excitement from the holiday club during the week, and a chance to meet the families that were there. Lots of people from our congregation will have been involved, so its a great chance to get together and support them. Please let Sue or Nigel know that you can come, so we can book your refreshments Sunday 29th July is the fifth Sunday of the month, and so there is no set up team on the rota. This gives us an opportunity to do something different! We will gather together in St Pauls at 10.30 am for some worship and a short time of prayer & sharing, before we get a chance to do one (or more!) of the following: Coffee in the Cafe Games on the Green Play in the Park See the Cycling (the Olympic Ladies road cycle race from London to Box Hill) This does very much depend on the weather on the day, so do come prepared

Please pray for:

All those unwell at present, recovering from illness and operations. Pray for effective treatment and a fast return to strength and wholeness All the preparations' for Holiday Club, the children coming and their families Those leaving for New Wine next Saturday, for safe travel and a God-filled and enjoyable time
For prayer chain requests, please contact :

Together Time
following our joint service and bbq at WHSG on the 5th August, there will be a joint service here at St Pauls on the 19th August. Its great to be able to share with each other over the more relaxed summer period, and we look forward to welcoming Nick White as our speaker that Sunday
