Description
Thank you for joining us for Day 2 of our weekend community Q&A! We have 7 more excellent questions to answer and so let's get right into them! Anon: Hi Dr. Cabral, Thanks so much for all the time you take to help educate all the listeners, you have made an amazing impact on my life. My questions are, I know I clearly have a fungal and possible candida overgrowth and have for several years but just was left with no answers as to why or how to fix them. I have had toe fungus for several years off and on and couldn't understand or get it to go away permenanty. I would on occasion get a good fresh nail to grow in on my big toe right foot and then a few months later find it sore and overcome again by fungus! Anyway, I know I need to do the Candida Protocol but I am currently nursing my 11 month old son. I would like to start this asap but I fear to do anything while I'm nursing, should I wait until I'm finished or would it be safe to start? My other question is, I do have saline breast implants and will be getting them out as soon as I can due to not liking the way they look the weight of them and also my overall health. I fear I will not like the way Iook after and am hesitant to get newer smaller ones placed back in. What is your take on these? And I know I will be placed on antibiotics after so where do i start with gut repair after the fact? Anon: Hi Stephen First of all, thanks very much for all of your free podcasts. They are a wealth of information I don’t think is available anywhere else on the net and you are an inspiration to me and I’m sure many others. I am male, 44 years old, 12.10 stone (76.8kg) in weight and in reasonable health. Although I don’t get much exercise and work at a desk I’ve managed to drop a couple of stone over the last year by healthy eating. I have been suffering from male pattern baldness for about 16 years but the progression has been slow and I have been using Minoxidil for many years and Finasteride for the last 5 years. I have however, over the last year, had bouts of hair shedding that last for a month or two then it calms for a month or two before starting again. The shedding its self seems to be strongest around midday when I start to feel a tingling or itchiness on my scalp. It appears to only be on work days when I’m sitting at my desk, although it could be that I notice it more at this time. I do get regrowth between the shedding months but I’m keen to find out if this is just a natural progression of male pattern baldness or if there is anything I can do to slow or stop the cycle. Again, thanks very much for all your hard work. Anon: Hi Dr. Cabral, What are your thoughts on botox injections? Are they dangerous? Are they worth it? What other natural things could you do instead of botox injections for wrinkles? Thanks for your help! Jenett: Hi Dr Cabral I just recently started listening to your podcast about a month ago and love it! I get SO much information and you answer so many questions that I would ask myself, had I been in your office. I have been studying and researching all things Naturopathic for my family and myself. I have two questions and would so incredibly grateful for your advice. 1) I have battled estrogen dominance and adrenal fatigue for years which has caused weight gain, heart palpitations, fatigue and so many more symptoms. I was researching the blood type diet and pear shaped diet and a endomorph body type diet which all describe me to a T as far as telling me to avoid things like grains, which I have an intolerance to but Im still off. Is there a way for me to naturally balance my hormones without so many supplements? 2) My son is going to be 11 in July and he is at least a foot shorter then all his class mates and he only weighs 47lbs. Every time he has a new doctor see him, they want to run every blood test and stool sample but aside from a little low albumin, which they said nothing of concern about, they cant seem to figure out why he cant gain weight. He was 5L
