Foster explores urban neighborhoods and tells their stories in her books, Portland Hill Walks and Portland City Walks, both published by Timber Press. She is also the editor of Metro's Walk There! guidebook of 50 walks, and is working on a book about Lake Oswego, due out in 2010. She leads walks for Metro, the City of Portland, the Forest Park Conservancy and other groups. Target Audience: Adults
