Hey everybody, this is Heidi St John, welcome to the podcast. I’m so glad you’ve joined me. Today is Wednesday, May 22nd—it is also week three of the MomStrong International Bible Study. And today we’re going to be talking a little bit on the topic of Matthew 18 and how to confront a friend in love.
Stick around, I think you’re going to be encouraged.
So there’s a lots of stuff going on in the culture right now to talk about. Certainly, the issues that we’re running into—and we do, you know, every day in the culture of—how do I respond? what is my responsibility in the culture with regard to what God has shown me in His Word? And at MomStrong International, that’s what we’ve been studying for the whole month of May. We’ve been studying about the power of our words. The study is called a Deep Waters and the Bible says in Proverbs 18:4 that the words of the mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream. And we want to just encourage each other, right? Not just you, not just me, but we want to encourage each other to a place of walking in right relationship with the Lord. And that is certainly the case here at the Bible Study.
If you haven’t joined us, I want to encourage you to join me at MomStrong International. It’s our hope to see you walking in such a way that you can do exactly what God said to do—which is to rightly divide His Word, to be able to apply it to the culture, to be able to apply it to every situation around you, to train your children up in the ways of the Lord. In fact, what we want to do is learn the Word of God, love other people the way God says to love them, and then take a position of leadership in the culture. And that’s what we’re going to encourage you to do. If you’re not following along with me at the MomStrong International Bible Study, you’re missing out—but it’s not too late. You can join us right now and we were still learning. And if you join right now, you can download the whole thing. You can do it with your kids, which is great—a fantastic opportunity for you to do that.
Also, I want to encourage you to come alongside and do the Scripture Writing Challenge with us. So every month I come up with the Scripture Writing Challenge, a plan really,
