THE Signs of Allah

Aia Shalan 12th Grade Girls

Verily! It is Allah Who causes the seed-grain and the fruit-stone (like date-stone, etc.) to split and sprout. He brings forth the living from the dead, and it is He Who brings forth the dead from the living. Such is Allah, then how are you deluded away from the truth?
The seed-grain and the date-stone are selected as types in the vegetable kingdom, showing the dependence of our physical life on it. "Split and sprout": both ideas are included in the root falaqa, and third is expressed by the word "cleave", in verse 96, for the action of evolving daybreak from the dark. For vegetables, "split and sprout" represent a double process: (i) the seeds divide, and (ii) one part shoots up. seeking the light and forming leaves and the visible parts of the future tree, and the other part digs down, forming the roots and seeking sustenance from the inside depth. This is just one small instance of the measure or disposition (judgement and decree) of the almighty and all-knowing Lord. For taqdir refer to the commentary of al Fatihah : 2 under "rububiyat". For "He brings forth the living from the dead" refer to the commentary of al Baqarah : 258 to 260.

**
And We have appointed the night and the day as two Ayat (signs etc.). Then, We have made dark the sign of the night while We have made the sign of day illuminating, that you may seek bounty from your Lord, and that you may know the number of the years and the reckoning. And We have explained everything (in detail) with full explanation.

Aqa Mahdi Puya says: In haste what man desires is compared to the obscurity of night which passes away. The sign of the night is the moon which does not possess any light of its own but reflects the light of the sun. Also its appearance is not regular. The sign of the day is the sun which radiates its own light. Also its appearance is regular, because of which we regulate the calculation of time, even if it is measured by the moon's revolutions.

He it is Who made the sun a radiance, that is, emitting light, and the moon a light, and determined it, with respect to its movement, in stations: 28 stations in 28 nights every month, becoming concealed for two nights when a particular month has 30 days, or [concealed] for one night, when it has 29 days, so that you might know, thereby, the number of the years and the reckoning. God did not create that, which is mentioned, save in truth, not in vain, exalted be He above such things. He details (read yufassilu or nufassilu, We detail) the signs for a people who know, who reflect.

Haqq-the promise of Allah is sure, certain, true, right, for just ends, in right proportions-all these ideas are implied. Allah's creation is continuous, there are many stages, the most important of which is the hereafter. The sun, the moon and all other heavenly bodies are created beings, created to serve man, therefore he should not bow to them as gods-they have been created to demonstrate the truth of the divine unity. The boiling fluid is a symbol of the grievous penalty that results from rebellion against Allah.

Among His wonders is this: He creates for you mates out of your own kind, so that you might incline towards them, and He engenders love and tenderness between you: in this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who think!

And among His signs is this that He created you from dust, -which speak of His might and power, is the fact that He created your father Adam out of dust. and then -- behold you are human beings scattered! So man's origins lie in dust, then in a despised liquid, then he is formed and becomes a clot, then a lump of flesh, then bones in the form of a human being. Then Allah clothes the bones with flesh. Then the soul is breathed into him and he can hear and see. Then he comes forth from his mother's womb, small and weak, but the longer he lives, the stronger he becomes, until he reaches the age where he can build cities and strongholds, and he travels to different lands and across the seas, earning a living and amassing wealth, and he is smart and intelligent and crafty, with ideas and opinions of his own, and each one is able to achieve great things in this world and in the Hereafter according to his individual means.Glory be to the One Who has enabled them and made it easy for them to learn all kinds of skills for earning a living, and has caused them to vary in their levels of knowledge and intellectual ability, and in how handsome or ugly, rich or poor they are, and in whether they are blessed and doomed.

Among His Signs is this, that He sends the Winds, as heralds of Glad Tidings, giving you a taste of His (Grace and) Mercy,- that the ships may sail (majestically) by His Command and that ye may seek of His Bounty: in order that ye may be grateful. And among His signs is this that He sends the winds as glad tidings, Here Allah mentions the favor He does for His creatures by sending winds to them, as harbingers of His mercy, meaning that they will be followed by rain. Allah says:giving you a taste of His mercy, that is, the rain which will come down and revive people and the land. and that the ships may sail at His command, means, on the sea, for they are driven by the wind.and that you may seek of His bounty, means, by trading, earning a living and traveling from one country to another, one region to another

And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness. Among all the signs of God, are day and night, and rising and setting of sun. He made night restful and means of peace, calmness and relaxation, and caused the day to be bright and shining, fit for activities and for obtaining livelihood. He also made the sun, like all stars, run towards its abode so that it may go on moving along with its system in the limitless space. He made the moon change its shape systematically from crescent to full moon and from full moon to its disappearance so that it may be possible to calculate lunar months and also to know the time of night from the rising and setting.

We created you, then why do you believe not?
The evidence Allah, subhanahu wa taala, puts down before them is, We created you so why do you not confirm the truth? In other words the Event of the creation, that is the Kun, is denied. In fact the denial is the denial of Existence itself. It means therefore that the confirmation of the truth is not based on an idea, that therefore dawa is not calling people to the rational argument of Islam. It has a rational argument, but it is not the rational argument but the experiential denial that makes the deniers deny. They deny in the face of the event of existence.

AYAT-SIGN OF ALLAH

Tell Me! The seed that you sow in the ground. The first question is, Have you thought of the sperm? and the second question is, Have you thought about what you cultivate? So the reality of the creature is the reality of the creation, of the earth. The reality of the person is also the reality of the world. What you cultivate, again you do not do it, Allah does it. Is it you who make it germinate? This impulse, this pulse of lifethis seed that looks dried, a husk, in your hand it looks absolutely deadyou put it in the earth, and the rain comes and the season comes. When the season is right and when the earth is right and the rain comes, when all of these things come together, suddenly there moves up this green shoot. This is the world in which we are standing, this is what Allah has put us on.
