SMALL BUSINESS

is a business that is privately owned and operated, with a small number of employees and relatively low volume of sales.(Wikipedia) Generally, it has insufficient resources to dominate its field of business.(F. Fajardo) Small businesses are normally privately owned corporations, partnerships, or sole proprietorships

Corporation - a company recognized by law as a single body with its own powers and liabilities, separate from those of the individual members. Partnership - a company set up by two or more people who put money into the business and share the financial risks and profits. Sole proprietorship - a business owned by one person.
