Allowances to Politicians
Rs. 14, 000 for office expenses every month, which includes, - Rs. 3,000 for stationary items, - Rs. 1,000 on franking of letters and - Rs. 10,000 for Secretariat service A monthly constituency allowance of Rs. 10,000.

A daily allowance of Rs. 500 when Parliament is in session.

..Cont Parliament has three session every year - The Budget Session (Feb to May) - Monsoon Session (July to Sep) - Winter Session (Nov to Dec) Each MP and his assistant are entitled to unlimited, free, first class railway travel anywhere in the country. They can also travel anywhere in India with a companion 40 times by air free of cost every year, business class.

Todays Scenario
Politics is about ideas, it is not a profession where one gets paid for sitting in office whole day.
Today people adopt politics as a career, for making quick money and not serving for the nation. Politicians have huge salaries which they dont even consider because they more big business running without any hurdles.

Did Freedom Fighters fight for money ? Where they assured that if you fight they would be paid ?

Reasons they should work for Free

Politics is more of social service than a profession Politicians should work for the upliftment of the country rather than their own They are being given a lot allowances and their basic necessities

Joining politics was meant to be fundamentally a public spirited voluntary decision and less of a conventional mode of not working and yet earning a living

Why they should not be paid

Since the beginning of human civilization, people who wanted to serve the society and transform them, opted for such career without an aim of upgrading their own economic stature Now days its just the converse! Now days to enter politics we have to pay a lot of money and it is totally money driven! Moreover politicians nowadays do nothing for the development of the country rather they develop their bank balance

We are we paying to this people ?

In nutshell,
Glorious Past has showed that, When it comes to money, politicians for last 2,000 years have known only how to spend it.. Fascinating Present shows that, Give Politicians more money, taxed or borrowed they will spend it and come back for more..
