What is INTERNET ???

Internet INTERconnected NETwork We can communicate/link two PCs or more to create connection by using cable or wireless connection (at homes or offices ) Connection between two computers or more is not internet until they are linked to a global connection. It is internet if you can link your self to a global connection from any places if the network is available

 Internet enables us to access many types of document/files (text, image, sound, video or application etc) If you access www.youtube.com , your computer is a client and youtube is your server Server provide data and can be accessed from anywhere if you have the connection and a browser software .

History of internet
It started in 1969 when US defense advance project decided a research about how to connect several computers to make an organic network . This research called ARPANET (Advance Research project agency) In 1972 Roy Tomlison created email program for ARPANET and at the same year the @ logo was introduced then Arpanet begun to be devolved outside US

 On march 26 1976 queen of England sent the first from royal signals and radar establishment in Melvern. 1979 100 computers joined ARPANET to make a network at the same year Tom Truseott, Jim Ellis and Steve Bellovin created news group named USENET in 1981 France Telecom launched the first telephone television using video link

 In 1982 Transition Control Protocol (TCP) and Internet Protocol (IP) was created because more connected network was increased. In 1988 Jarkko Oikarinen from Finland invented IRC ( Internet Relay Chat) 1990 Tim Berners Lee Invented WWW 1992 more than 1 million computers were connected

In 1994 There were 3000 web pages and and shopping online was created and at the same year YAHOO was created and Netscape Navigator 1.0 was born Facebook was born in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg and now has 900 Million users Twitter was created in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey. Now it has 500 million active users Google. The company was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while both attended Stanford University. Together, Brin and Page own about 16 percent of the company's stake. Google was first incorporated as a privately held company on September 4, 1998 YouTube is a video-sharing website, created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005, on which users can upload, view and share videos. The company is based in San Bruno, California, and uses Adobe Flash Video and HTML5 technology to display a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clips, and music videos, as well as amateur content such as video blogging and short original videos.
