A Task in ActixOne
Set of selected data for a given network part, area, and time period
Contains events/problems to be investigated by a user Is further characterized by:
Description
Priority, Status, Assigned To Problem, Cause, Action further customer-specific properties, e.g. RNC
46
Task Types
Task Type Spotlight
Created for call events. Similar to Spotlight tasks, but contain one event only tasks that users consider need to be investigated or addressed Related to Benchmarking projects, for a particular period. For ActixOne internal use. Created for each controller to allow analysis of missing neighbors, overshooters, and handover failures. Created if a configuration parameter has changed Created if a KPI exceeds a threshold
Equipment Alarm

Task List Handling
All tasks that match the current Filter and Scope are displayed in the list. When you select a task from the list, the task view for that task becomes available. The buttons by the Task List allow you to:
Refresh the list
Run a Report
At the bottom of the Task List, ActixOne displays the selected tasks ID and Description, the applied filter, view, and scope, and the total number of tasks in the current list.
Select a task by its ID, by typing it in the Task ID field at the bottom

Area-Based Analysis
Enables a simplified workflow:
No need to create tasks User can set up a default cluster boundary Upon entering Network Optimization module:
immediately launch the Call Event Explorer or the Radio Network Analysis for the user cluster area and further in the Call Event Explorer, simply click on an event in the map in this cluster area and immediately launch the Layer 3 Drilldown
53
For more information on Layers, refer to Course Module 1 (Overview and Getting Started).

Select the RSCP (Best) plot from the Legend Select EcNo for Chart display Select the top sector row
Based on the Distance chart and on the Maximum Server Distance indicated on the map, overshooting sectors can be identified
Click
The map and the histogram display also numbers of strong signals below pollution
Using the Legend, only polluted bins can be selected for display
78
Your trainer will now demonstrate how to identify the polluting sectors at a given location:
On the map, select a bin
(An area can be selected by Shift + draw a rectangle. Multiple bins can be selected by Ctrl.)
and listed in a table in the left panel together with the measurement information

81
Your trainer will now demonstrate how to identify which sectors pollute each other:
Sort the sector table at the bottom for the highest Count Pollution Select the top sector Sector lines
Thickness corresponds to the number of polluted bins can be hidden/shown by the Draw Sector Lines checkbox
82
Region Start (m): The distance from the antenna at which pollution bins will start to be displayed in the terrain profile chart. Region Width (m): The width of the shaded region on the map. And the width, for which pollution bins are displayed in the chart. Start/End Alpha: The transparency of the start and end of each shaded region.
A value of 1 is solid, and a value of 0 is totally transparent. The shading will grade steadily from the start point to the end point of each shaded region.
Start/End Color: The color at the start and end of each shaded region.
The color will change steadily from one color to the other from the start to the end point of each shaded region.
Use Symmetric Scaling: Changes the vertical scale in the chart to match the horizontal scale. It is usually switched off to accentuate the vertical scale. Show Grid Lines: Displays lines on the chart corresponding to each successive 3 dB reduction in antenna power.
83
Your trainer will now demonstrate how to visualize the vertical antenna orientation over terrain and pollution:
Click to activate Antenna Visualization
(either on the map or in the table)
Select a sector
Antenna Visualization:
Shows the visualization corridor on the map and the vertical antenna orientation in combination with the altitude profile and the pollution bins in the diagram below The initial azimuth angle of the corridor points to the most pilot pollution where the selected sector is best server
Select a pollution bin (outside of the corridor) to change the visualization towards the direction of that bin
84
Your trainer will now demonstrate how to analyze different antenna downtilts:
Use the sliders to the left of the diagram to change the vertical orientation
Adjust the electrical tilt Click below the left slider to also Adjust Mechanical Tilt
Click
Click and move the corridor on the map to turn it to a different direction
Investigate the impact of tilt settings at the different angles
85
Antenna Visualization is also available in the Tools menu for any selected sector
Opens a separate window
Settings are available at the top right

Statistical criteria
This algorithm is designed to Add missing neighbors based on the scanner measurements, predominantly during roll-out tasks. It also offers recommendations to Retain or Remove neighbors; however they should usually still be verified by handover statistics.

87
Your trainer will now demonstrate how to analyze and optimize neighbor lists:
To get a neighbor lists overview, select Neighbors as analysis Select a row in the sector list, then neighbors
are identified by lines* on the map:
green : add blue : retain red : remove
and listed in a table in the left panel together with the measurement and analysis information
